Hey there!

I am new to Mikrotik and the forum.

I would like to purchase 2x hap ac^2 so I can set our ISP's router/modem to bridge-mode and get it out of the LAN.
In order to connect the 2 levels of our house I would like to use a WDS station/ap setup over 5 GHz but I've been reading about WLAN performance issues on ARM chips around here.
Users say this has gotten better with recent RC updates however I couldn't find much confirmation. Will it max out my 400/20 Mbps internet connection as of right now? Is it otherwise a solid home router?
