Issue with one RouterOS device

Mon Nov 13, 2023 11:41 pm

Small network with 4 hAP ax^2 devices, 1 hAP AC device and 2 wAP AC devices all configured as wireless access points/bridges. Internet gateway is RB4011 also running the Dude server. All are running v7.12. I'm running the Dude client on Windows PC, and I am able to monitor all devices without problem.

I just added a 5th hAP ax^2 device to the network, also configured as a wireless access point/bridge running v7.12. For some reason, the Dude client is reporting that CPU, disk, and memory services are down on this device. All other services are reported as up. No other devices have this problem.

I have compared configurations between this new hAP ax^2 and other devices, and they are identical. I have reset the configuration and reconfigured from scratch but to no avail. The Dude client keeps saying that CPU, disk, and memory on this one device are down.

Any ideas?

Do you see anything suspicious in the "5th hAP ax^2 device" logs?

How do you monitor these devices - via SNMP or you provided ROS credentials and they are identified as ROS devices?
