Mikrotik, WTF? I bought 5009P+ thinking it'll poe-in and poe-out independently from PSU or 2-pin power, then I figure out I was wrong and you've made a bold text later that you have to use PSU to have poe-out.
Alright, I used 5009 as a main router and bought L009 to use as a switch with poe passthrough, to power it from ether1 (which is "conveniently" not on switch chip, good job either) and power daisy-chained devices from ether8 (which is now even cannot detect poe client and you have to use forced-on, great). But today I powered hex s with 56V PSU, used cat6 cable to connect hexs ether5 to L009 ether1, it powered on, but guess what - no poe-out from ether8 without PSU, AGAIN.
Not only you make worse designed (but better-looking) equipment now, you also "forget" to mention some things until you're pointed on it by users.
About 5009 - after 6 months mounted on the wall I found it leaking silicone from it's thermopads. It wasnt overheating.
