The router boots up and functions only on 100-megabit ports; the gigabit ports are all non-functional. If I connect to a 100-megabit port and access Winbox, everything works. However, when I plug into a gigabit port (1-5), it disconnects me from Winbox, and the router does not reboot in the process.

I think that it's a faulty unit, so you need RMA or buy another new router and replace it.
