You can if ac devices run wifi-qcom-ac driver (see new wifi manual for instructions). ac devices have to run ROS v 7.13, ax devices can run older v7, capsman device has to run wave2/wifi capsman, which mostly means running ROS v7.13 as well.

A caveat: 16MB flash, found on many ac devices, is pretty tight for ROS 7.13 + qcom-wifi-ac ... Keep an eye on flash usage, if it gets full, device will run into random problems.
