RBM33G mPCIe#1 not detecting wireless module

Mon Jan 08, 2024 4:01 pm

Hi all,

I'm using the RBM33G with an atheros ar9888 wireless module since a while.
Nevertheless, on two of my RBM, the wireless module is well detected automatically on mPCIe#0 but not on mPCIe#1 . And on the ten other RBM I have I don't have this issue, it works like a charm on both mPCIe.

All cards are setuped in the same way, even board's jumpers.

Anyone who got also this issue/a clue?

Hi,
could it be that board at some point has received more voltage than rated 11-28 V ? (For example used in automotive, where at car startup it got voltage spike)
Please check if there is stable 3v3 on port, if not U401 may be damaged.

Which version of ROS is installed on RBM?
When the model was released /with ROS 6.40.5/, it detected only one wifi card. After a while, Mikrotik fixed this problem!
