install a paskage via consile

Sun Feb 25, 2024 11:40 pm

Hello.

The https://help.mikrotik.com/docs/display/ROS/Packages contains examples for manipulate of packages, but example of installation is missing. For example I have wireless-7.13.4-arm.npk on flash:
[admin@MikroTik] > file/print
Columns: NAME, TYPE, SIZE, CREATION-TIME
# NAME TYPE SIZE CREATION-TIME
0 wireless-7.13.4-arm.npk package 2704.1KiB 2024-02-26 01:15:52
1 flash disk 1970-01-01 04:00:17
2 flash/skins directory 1970-01-01 04:00:18
3 flash/pub directory 1970-01-02 04:09:29
How can I install it?

After you place optional package to the root of router's storage, it'll get installed (if it's correct for the device) automatically when you reboot device.

Thanks. It's similar to updating the base package, but I didn't guess. Is it probably worth mentioning? :-)
