Good morning,
I know that there is a list of "supported" devices, but... having a k5160 LTE stick, included in the list, used for backup in case of fault of the FTTH... I notice that several time the LTE card stop working.
1) if I am lucky, I just need to disable\enable the LTE stick
2) if 1) fails, I need to power off the USB port for some seconds
3) if 1) and 2) fail... there is only the reboot of the RB5009 that can help
The problem is that if I am not at home... the described behavior is not acceptable for me.
When the issue occurs, in the log I see:
"LTE1 mbim: error: modem firmware bug: network mode selection failed"
GSM, 3G, etc. are disabled, only LTE enabled
APN is correctly set to the operator one
This LTE stick works perfectly on my Windows 10 PC and also in another Sercomm router.
Moreover, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't... it is random.
So... the question: is there a USB LTE stick let me say... certified or... with very positive feedbacks?
Thanks
