Auras and EM Radiation

Sat Feb 28, 2009 1:02 pm

Before I continue with this post, I need to make it clear that I am stone cold sober. I also need to make it clear that I am not a loony and that I did a lot of soul searching before posting this.

We have a guy who works in our company who seems to be able to interrupt radio links.

If I have a RB on my test bench that's connected to one of the APs on our roof, or if I'm building an AP and use a CPE to test it, the units that would be signal locked start hopping around, searching for signal as soon as he walks into the room.

This is a big problem considering the fact that he's a trainee technician and basically means I can't send him on site. For that matter, I can't send him anywhere near radio links. Result is that we're seriously considering terminating his services - as he is still in his probation period.

Has anyone every had anything like this before?

Is there anything that can be done to get this guy to be less static?

This really does appear to be a case of "less of those negative vibes man".

Any help, advice or assistance would be appreciated.

Scan him with a spectrum analyzer. just like they do with the metal detector wand at the airport.

Perhaps he's wearing electronics that are faulty (cell phone, ipod, watch, etc..)

If it's a static issue, make some clothing out of used antistatic bags.
