Multiple pppoe connections with subnet?

Sun Aug 16, 2009 3:52 am

Hi,

is the following situation possible with RouterOS?

I have two pppoe connections: pppoe-out1 and pppoe-out2
They have the public IPs 80.1.1.1 and 80.1.1.2
Also the ISP routes two subnets to those IPs: 1.1.1.0/24 and 2.2.2.0/24

Now given that the ISP will also prevent IP spoofing so that traffic from and to 1.1.1.0/24 can only pass through pppoe-out1...

Will this still work?

I'm not too experienced with IP routing but I suspect as both pppoe-interfaces will add a default gateway rule the traffic might take the wrong interface on it's way back.

Best regards

Max

Thanks,

I found some examples at the end of this pages which match my situation:
http://www.mikrotik.com/documentation/m ... t382128020 (won't work anymore)
