I have a x86 box(with 2 intel i211) with Mikrtok v7(L4) installed. The tx and rx irqs are assigned to 1 cpu on 7.12rc, as a result, the CPU usage is not even distributed to all 4 cores.
Can anyone else confirm that problem witx x86 machines and RouterOS 7.x ?

Good that the false reporting of sector writes is finally fixed. This did reduce the resell value of the Mikrotik device you own greatly.
Do You think it was "false reporting" ? Maybe it was "true reporting", but now (and before) something is hidden...

Wishlist: CCR1016-8S-4S+ or better CCR1016-1S-16S+ :) I mean that we need CCR with more SFP+ ports. Not as powerfull as CCR 1072, but like CCR1016 with minimum 4xSFP+ ports(1Gbit/10Gbit).

The "around half the speed" is a key. We need MINIMUM as powerfull as 850Gx2. Could be more powerfull of course:) but not bigger than...850Gx2.

WHY?: when selected in "5GHz-only-N", rate to "default", HT-selected both chains, so WHY clients still connecting sometimes at 5GHz "A" rates, for instance 6Mbps. Is it any bug, that RouteOS still enable to connect with "A" rates?

How to detect (in script) taht /system history has changed? Not increased numer of /system history changes, because the maximum value is 100, but dedect any change at /system history and after that - run any action (for instance send e-mail).

MT ROS 6.40.1. After 1-2 days local PPPoE server is "strange-working". I mean that some pppoe-clients can't connect via PPPoE, some are connected but no traffic... Is there any problem with that at ROS 6.40.1 ?

Script is GREAT, but there is something wrong with that script at ROS 6.3X :(
At that version of MikroTik Router OS - script is triggering (sending email) at every midnight. So - what I have should to change to work as good as under 5.2X ROS?

I have updated both QRTac to ROS 6.39.2, but the problem with maximum Point-toPoint link still persists. Any idea? Or there is no chance to get more at MikroTik?

the red line is the upgrade time to ROS 6.37.2.
As you can see - there is much higher CPU usage. So there is any problem with that version at x86.

export shows values that are changed by user from default, not where ports are connected to. Just unset that speed value. You are wrong! That port (ether1 and all other ports) is set to "Auto negotiation" and "Advertise" is set to all available speeds: 10Mhalf, 10Mfull, 100Mhalf...

It seems that the card is manually set to 100Mbps, otherwise speed value would not be exported Unfortunately You are wrong. Card is set to auto, traffic on that router is about 500Mbps. RC46 i VERY problematic after update... After automatic update under "check for updates" at my RB493G (mipsbe-separate packages) - some packages gone, only "system" has upgraded to rc46, i have had to power unplug/plug to make it working, then put missing rc46 packages at winbox....

After more investigation...
FTP service works, but...when user (group) have only "ftp" policy - it can't login. admin with full privileges (polices) can do it. So - there is something wrong with "ftp" policy at that MT versions.

But... Rather than doing that, why not just do whatever it is you're wanting to do, and just use the construct

The only solution is downgrade to ROS 5.xx. After that - no more problems with CPE disconnections from MT AP (Nstreme+Polling one polarisation). MikroTik team don't ansering for that problem (of course I have send e-mail to support...).

We are downgrading to MikroTik ROS 5.26 for best radio connections with Nstreme+Polling 5GHz one-polarization connections.
Anyone else have that problems? We have checked it at many MT Access Points - the same problem. The only solution is downgrade to ROS 5.2x.

Why there is NO information at mikrotik site about ROS 6.32 availabilty, that is available direct from any working ROS?

What about known issue from MT6.31?:

*) Dynamic DNS servers can disappear when "allow-remote-requests" are not enabled

There is NO information about it in 6.32rc5 changelog, and there is no info about fixed issue. So - it's still not fixed or it is????

Switch to Nv2 and you will not see "Not pooled for too long" It's NOT solution. I don't want to have a much more latencies, like NV2 introduces. Besides, Nstreme and polling is working good, almost at all versions max to 6.20 . So - there is something wrong with Nstreme and polling from 6...

Radio disconnects MT higher than 6.20

At every version MT higer than 6.20 I have many clients disconnects from AP. The last good version for radio AP and clients (Nstreme) is 6.20 for me. Could You confirm that problem? Just try to MAC-telnet to any CPE connected to MT AP - from that AP. Some of clients works good, but some - disconnect...

they produce RouterBoards, not Intel cards, and that version surely works on RouterBoards ;)

I can confirm, that Intel cards works OK under MT6.23.1 at x86, but this fu...g BUG costed me trip about 80km early morning! Who will pay for that and for network inaccessibility??!!

I have to confirm :( After upgrade RB750GL from 6.15 to 6.17 - it didn't came up!!! :( It was my first problem like that, after few years with MT boards and hundrets of upgrades. I had to use NetInstall at that RB750GL to make it working again.

You did not see the other changes, did you ?
Of couse I have seen, but this wasted time should be purposed to improve main features of RouterOS (wireless, routing), but not colour-scheme. It's not a toy for a childrens.

Board is similar in size to the CRS (see picture in another topic), but bigger than RB2011. The estimated release date is still within Q4 as promised.
Today is last day of Q4 2013.
Maybe I have missuderstand Your answer...
So we have to wait to Q4 2014 Year ?? ;) ... for CCR1009

CCR1009 should not be confused with a small RB450G replacement.

car have DC +12V or +24V so you can power it directly not through some DC-DC converter. You are right. I haven't seen that there is DC input - great. But USB - i think it should be "normal USB port" - that means USB A standard input to connect USB dongles directly to mAP, not with any add...

mAP should have "normal" USB port (USB A type socket) to connect USB devices directly to it. NOT small USB port. And of course powering via PoE or DC input.

for #2 why can't you use the power from the cars battery DC, for example, cigarette lighter?
Because it's/will be used for powering mikroTik mAP ?!
So, it should be 'normal" USB port at the mAP to connect all USB dongles DIRECTLY to mAP and have powered USB dongle from that port.

All RACK products should have front DC connector (12-30V)
AC power is not suitable for AP points.

Have Yot tried it yourself? I have tried. Theoretical it should be, but...
when I'm connecting it (SXTG-2HnD) do vertical base station antenna, the signal is much better when I turn it (SXT) at 90degrees.

We have cheaper models without LCD
And without voltage monitoring :(
Voltage monitoring is VERY good feature at RouterBoard. We use it to monitor DC UPS voltage.
But who will climb at 100m tower to loo look at RB LCD ?? :)

depending on configuration, if you have a lot of interfaces, you can assign cores to interfaces and distribute load that way
