I have set the allow ip address set to a single address, but in the testing phase i was still able to view the queue graphs...

ccr1072 freezes up

Hello all, We just purchased a ccr1072 and in 3 weeks of being in service, the router has stopped running twice for no reason. Both times the router was in service and running traffic and all of a sudden it just stopped working. It didnt turn off, but stopped processing traffic and would not allow a...

Re: single ip address doesnt work

If I remember correctly we tried using that ip testing of dhcp, but removed the dhcp months ago. From what your wrote Im guessing you rebooted the router to clear everything, or do I need to upgrade to newest release?

single ip address doesnt work

What would cause one single ip address not to work? The mikrotik assigns the ip address to the modem but I am not able to surf the web. All other ip addresses in the block work except this one ip. We use PPPoE if that makes a difference. Thanks Kevin

setting max mtu

Need some help on setting the max mtu on ccr 1036. Customers have complained about not being able to access certain websites. An example would be that they went to www.blick.com and that site would come up, but if they clicked on a link within the website the page would time out. After asking around...

DHCP and PPPoE on the same interface

Can DHCP and PPPoE be broadcast over the same interface to different customers. If I had a remote chassis that I want all the customers to be dhcp and another remote chassis to be PPPoE could that be done over the same interface or would I have to send that through a different port on my CCR1036? I ...

dhcp and PPPoe

Is it possible to run both dhcp and PPPoE over the same Ethernet port. I want to set up a pool of ip address for PPPoe and one pool for dhcp, so some routers out in field will be dhcp and others will PPPoE.

ICMP Rate Limit

Under the ICMP Rate Limit, the default is 10. Is this number of requests, milliseconds, percentage of bandwidth? Does anybody know, because I cannot find anything in the manual that describe in detail what this setting actual is.

Re: ppp dropping

Thanks for the info, I was going to do wireshark, but I did find the logging option in system tab, and set it to log 65000 lines for a total of 75 files. I finally found what might be causing the drop, but not sure how to fix it in mikrotik. In my log I am seeing this: Mar/15/2017 05:49:12 pppoe,ppp...

ppp dropping

Is there something in the mikrotik that will allow me to see who is sending the request to drop the ppp session. I keep getting random drops of ppp sessions and cant figure out who is asking for the drop, the mikrotik or the modem on the other end.
