Sweet i fixed the traffic flow. The original config in version 6 had a source ip adresss of 0.0.0.0 which worked in that software version. Now in version 7.7 the source ip address was 0.0.0.0 and didnt work, but when i changed it to the routers actual ip address it started to send the flow.

Well ^%$^#%$^&. I read change log but didnt see anything about no more traffic flow. I have tried to downgrade and every time it is still on 7.7. I upload the tile routeros to the file list and then go to system packages and downgrade but it never went back. UGH!!!!!!!!!!

I am trying to get NetVizion by zcorum to monitor my mikrotik CCR1072 and cant seem to get NetVizion to establish SNMP with the Mikrotik. I have set up snmp with my zhone equipment but for some reason mikrotik and netvizion dont want to gel.

i can, just didnt know if there was an option to just suspend the pool from assigning it. You know like when you can enable or disable something, thought maybe i could just disable the ip address when it was assigned to a route.

Is there an easy way to block a specific ip address from being assigned to a customer for a period of time? I have an ip address that is getting blasted with DDOS attacks. Doesn't matter who its assigned to it keeps getting hit.

I set up a graph to monitor a customers usage, but i cannot see the graph in web browser as the mikrotik manual says i should. I followed the instructions, but i cannot view in web browser. Everytime i try to view in web browser its saying connection refused. Any suggestions.

If I remember correctly we tried using that ip testing of dhcp, but removed the dhcp months ago. From what your wrote Im guessing you rebooted the router to clear everything, or do I need to upgrade to newest release?

What would cause one single ip address not to work? The mikrotik assigns the ip address to the modem but I am not able to surf the web. All other ip addresses in the block work except this one ip. We use PPPoE if that makes a difference. Thanks Kevin

Is it possible to run both dhcp and PPPoE over the same Ethernet port. I want to set up a pool of ip address for PPPoe and one pool for dhcp, so some routers out in field will be dhcp and others will PPPoE.

I have workstation set up in office using dhcp, I can surf the web, ping mikrotik, google etc. from workstation, but I cannot ping from mikrotik to workstation. Any ideas?

Under the ICMP Rate Limit, the default is 10. Is this number of requests, milliseconds, percentage of bandwidth? Does anybody know, because I cannot find anything in the manual that describe in detail what this setting actual is.

Is there something in the mikrotik that will allow me to see who is sending the request to drop the ppp session. I keep getting random drops of ppp sessions and cant figure out who is asking for the drop, the mikrotik or the modem on the other end.
