Re: DHCP deassigned/assigned log message [VLAN Switch - RB3011] [SOLVED]

The problem was this rule: /ip firewall filter add action=drop chain=input comment="input - Drop all I disabled this one and the DHCP deassigned/assigned log message disappears. Digging deeper into the problem and enabling the rule logging, I found the following requests from the Mi Hub: 2024-0...

DHCP deassigned/assigned log message [VLAN Switch - RB3011] [SOLVED]

Hello, I have a wireless device (Xiaomi Mi Hub) with static IP address leased by the DHCP Server that every 5 minutes generates this info logs (this device is very near to the access point and had a very strong wireless signal): dhcpd-IOT deassigned 192.168.30.129 for MAC_ADD lumi_gateway_mgl03 dhcp...

Redirect external domain to another external domain (including subdomains)

Hi, In Mikrotik, how can I redirect some external domain to another external domain, including subdomains? For example, when a host from the LAN try to navigate to xxxx.domain-one.org, the router redirects the request to xxxx.domain-two.org. And when another host try to navigate to yyyyy.domain-one....

Re: How to force "Actual MTU" on PPPoE client [SOLVED]

Quote of the day: There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers from people that needs to feel smarter than everyone else.
A simple answer like "it's not possible because the ISP configures the MTU size" would have sufficed.

How to force "Actual MTU" on PPPoE client [SOLVED]

Hi,
I configured a PPPoE client on Mikrotik RouterOS v7.2.3 to connect to Internet and I get a MTU size of 1480 (max MTU and max MRU are set to 1492). There is a way to force "Actual MTU" to get a 1492 MTU?

Re: v7.3 [stable] is released!

Hello, After the update of multiple RB3011UiAS-RM devices from v7.2.3 (with Routerboard firmware as well on v7.2.3) to v7.3, the devices went into boot loop and we are unable to get them into Etherboot or Bootloader mode either. My colleague is taking them to Mikrotik office as of this moment (in R...
