BGP wan-bridge

Hi,
I have a MT to act as a BGP router and I'd like to have a direct external IP address for some of the devices behind it. What would be the best way to achieve it? should I just create a wan-bridge with BGP interface and some other interfaces in it?

No NAT for a host

Hi, I've just replaced an old Cisco router with MT and I have a NAT question. The router acts as a BGP device, I have Cisco ASA as a VPN device with direct external address, ASA is connected to a bridge-wan interface. How should I configure it not to NAT vpn traffic? Should I just add a NAT rule wit...

Selecting a WAN IP

Hi,

How can I configure MT to "see" my network in the Internet as a specific IP address instead of BGP provider address? I'd like to be seen as a one of my BGP pool addresses.

Re: Which routerboard for BGP (to replace a Cisco router)

One thing more - what would be your idea of configuring two MT's in a HA pair? I have two Internet lines, my idea is to connect one line to one MT and then configure routing between these two to have an active-active pair. Is it a good idea?

Re: Which routerboard for BGP (to replace a Cisco router)

Thanks, I need to check the requirements and actual network usage. Looks like CCR will be the good solution.

Which routerboard for BGP (to replace a Cisco router)

Hi,

I have a question regarding replacing a one Cisco router (2921) with two MT devices to do only BGP. What would be your recommendation? What would be the best way to make it work as a HA infrastructure?

Regards,
Piotr

EoIP over L2TP and NAT

Hi, I'm trying to configure an EoIP tunnel over L2TP VPN, one of the sites is behind a NAT. The result is that on one side tunnel is up but on the other (behind a NAT) is down. What should I check/configure to make it work? When there is no NAT between routers the tunnel goes up on both sides and it...

PPTP problem

Hi, I have a problem with VPN (PPTP Server) on MT. It used to work for a few months and suddenly it stopped - when I try to connect from my Win10 it says that it can be GRE problem, on MT I can see call requests but without success.
How can I debug the problem to make it work ?

Re: DNS for PPTP clients

Thank you - it worked :)

The problem is that I'd like not to use domains but only hostnames - is there a way to configure DNS/WINS to work without FQDN ?

Re: DNS for PPTP clients

Could you tell me how should MT configuration look like to make DNS for PPTP clients work ? I have some static DNS entries, they are working directly on MT console but not for remote computers.

Re: DNS for PPTP clients

What do you mean "in pptp clients" - there are PCs with Win10 connected to VPN server. Should I change something in windows vpn connection configuration ?

Hello, What should I do to make VPN clients "see" static DNS configuration on MT ? I have PPTP configured, clients are getting proper IP addresses and MT IP as a DNS server, on MT I have some static DNS entries configured but when I connect as a client I'm not able to ping anything using d...
