Re: Russia regulatory domain + UNII-3 channels

No surprise that regular devices don't want to work on non-standard ones.
Yes, but why ROS selecting non-standard freq., that is surprising.

Re: Russia regulatory domain + UNII-3 channels

This is some dirty bureaucratic language, but summary: 5150-5350 MHz and 5650-5850 MHz - ONLY for indoor use, without getting additional permissions (according to № 07-20-03-001 http://docs.cntd.ru/document/902048009 ) 5150-5350 MHz and 5650-6425 Mhz - allowed for outdoor use, but additional permiss...

Re: Russia regulatory domain + UNII-3 channels

What about the latest "russia4"? Can not select 5745/20-Ceee. "No supported channel" upd: It's because these frequencies marked as "outdoor" in russia4. It works if "installation" option not set to "indoor". But it's wrong, it must be indoor use... ...

Russia regulatory domain + UNII-3 channels

Hello! I try to use "russia" regulatory domain for CAPs, but there is no 80MHz UNII-3 channels: /interface wireless info country-info "russia" ............... 5755-5815/a,an20,an40,ac20,ac40,ac80,ac160,ac80+80(20dBm)/outdoor ................ According to Wiki https://en.wikipedia...

Re: Support for IKEv2 Fragmentation (RFC 7383)

Same issue. Disgusting multiple NAT on satellite internet access, error 809 on windows clients (IKEv2 + RSA certificates)... Can't change provider, and experiments with MTU on client interfaces is very dangerous/impossible (they are 1500km away with sat access, so... :)) and i doubt it will help. We...

Re: v6.47 [stable] is released!

We need either antenna-gain or other simple method for lowering wifi power, it's ridiculous. And i can't see how this option interfere with regulations. Simply forbid "criminal" settings (i.e. antenna-gain < actual build-in antenna gain) - problem solved! Also we need much more stable rele...

Re: v6.47 [stable] is released!

It may be that you all have a script that gives error, but RouterOS has not displayed it before. Try to disable all script and see if message goes away. It's strange. /system default-configuration print shows no default config script whatsoever. It's gone. So it seems that default configuration has...

Re: v6.47 [stable] is released!

system, error, critical error while running customized default configuration script: no such item
Same error here on HAP ac lite.
Antenna-Gain is lost in winbox, very bizarre decision, while superchannel setting still exists.
Bring back antenna-gain! :-)

Re: v6.42.2 [current]

If neighbor discover-interface-list is set to exclude (i.e. !WANs, where WANs is list of interfaces, for example), export command produces incorrect output (without "!") > /ip neighbor discovery-settings set discover-interface-list=!WANs > /ip neighbor export <..........> /ip neighbor disc...

Re: v6.42 [current]

If you had a "write" only account, you could make a netwatch rule, that executes a script, that creates a "full" user, or worse. Permission escalation bug.
Okay... understandable. Wrote a script using /file set contents. It works for now.
thanks for answer!

Re: v6.42 [current]

netwatch - limit to read, write, test and reboot policies for Netwatch script execution; Maybe i don't understand something, but why? Now we can not use /tool fetch (for example, telegram bots), can not set global variables!. Please add at least "ftp" and "policy"! It's very ann...

Re: v6.41.2 [current]

Yes, rstp was enabled on bridge...
However, disabling rstp took about 3-4 minutes, i think that's a little too slow... Changing other settings (like "fast forward") also freezes the bridge for several minutes.

Re: Netwatch tool + script: Are global variables truly global?

I only use file as indicator/switch (something like boolean var, exist/not exist), but i think command
/file set filename.txt contents="downtime=..."
and then
/file get filename.txt contents
should do the job

Re: Netwatch tool + script: Are global variables truly global?

Looks like strange and serious bug. I ended up using temp file to store information... Very annoying. Can't see any errors in my scripts.

Re: Netwatch tool + script: Are global variables truly global?

I have found very strange issue with global variables in "netwatch" scripts. When user logged in (via winbox or ssh, doesn't matter) global variables in "up" and "down" scripts works fine, as expected. But if user not logged in, global variable created by script lasts o...
