... new usermanager is the buggiest i´ve ever seen and you cannot downgrade new routerboards to 4.17. so i putted all my mikrotik ac´s in the rest and took pcengines boards, wich are really much better. downgrade to 4.17 and it runs :lol:

the event was the launching of aida-diva in hamburg harbour ( 45 minutes of 240 heartbeat)

that was the first event we tried MA-Net ..... in a mixed enviroment of lwl and wireless.....

lol..... was a bit more than konverting dmx to ethernet

yes, we build a ring around the whole harbour area with 6x433 boards (all with 3xr52) .. configured as hmm... ring in / ring out and one for access... as a redundant backbone. the light positions (ship, dock ... exacly 10 positions) were configured with 433 with 2xr52... nice show :-)) in germany we...

i have the same problem.... logging in router is correct (i log paralel in memory)

i reach proxilizer with web interface but no logging data...
/var/log/proxylizer/ is empty :-(

your script is right if you want to reset uptime and traffic counters. it does not reset the "left" time. the "left" time stays on "0" .... so the user cannot connect once more. it seems that nobody nows for what this "reset" really is.... sorry, i have the sa...

thanks for the reply...... but you cannot reset users you created with usermanger in /ip hotspot users ... you have to reset them in /tool userman users.... we work with usermanager and hotspot .... we create users in usermanager (not in hotspot) ... uptime-limit is reached.... user is diconnected ....

is it right that this is not running with user manager...
i tried to reset counters, but it only resets "used time", not "left time".
so if "left=0" you don´t get new time if you reset the user ...

i have a problem with that ... reset-counters resets only "used" not "left" so the users get "credit time left" in hotspot login

hallo normis,

shure it´s nothing wrong.... anyway ... its only easyer to do it direcly from user manager...
our customers have no need to do anything in the router....
but it´s ok.....i start to write a script

ok.... in europe we have a law called "vorratsdatenhaltung" that means you have to store connectiondata from every user incl. logintime, logouttime, identity, ip address ...for a half year. with usermanager it is no problem and very comfortably :lol: so what our customers want is to print ...

found out that the aux antenna port on crossroads board isn´t aktiv... means, if you kill main miniSMT ... you lost :(

but that implies that your customers have to configure dhcp on their notebooks and forget the realy nice one-to-one NAT feature in hotspot ... isn´t it ?

yes..... same problems in italy and denmark....

they have this regulations right now.... we actually have to build some hotspots there, but we can not because I haven´t a good solution for this problem....

btw..... how to export the whole nat table ??

hi...

upgraded from 3.6 to 3.9 on wrap boards...
after upgrade it runs... at the next software reboot it hangs..
hotspot dont´t come up...
you have to do hardware reboot...power off/on
on all wrap boards....back to 3.6 fixed it.

hi, first i don´t said mt is bad.... we have round about 15 hotspots in use and round about 150 access points ... so, it cannot be bad. :-).. so this year we have to build networks in italia, spain and denmark... and the only question i had is how to get logs with the known data.... because in this ...

hi.... yes, we can wait 11 month for such a feature.... but only in germany... e.g. in italia and denmark you have to do it right now. so. i think we can do it with syslog and calea in mt... but we don´t know how, because they still have not a documentation about that. i like mt but you must concede...

handlink support told me to change all our mikrotik hotspots... 15 .... to handlink gateways...

maybe it´s the best idea...

it is only if i enable wds.....
without wds isolation is ok....

but ... if wds is enabled isolation is not working.... is that ok ?

never mind if "default forward" is enabled or disabled... I see my neighbors pc....

uhh... now i got it.... thanks again.. my problem is that we used handlink gateways in the past... very easy to handle but very sh... i putted some of them in the north-atlantic :-) I think MikrotikOs is one of the best I´ve ever worked with... but maybe I´m a bit handlink conterminated... I work ha...

cooooooooool....... it works.... many thanx.... i think i can live with that..:-) but... for what are things like profiles and statistics and so on... you cannot see how much tickets you sold..etc.. user manager is a mystic feature for me... so i will use hotspot only for accounting... by the way......

i think this is not a problem for the most applications..... should the rb112 boot if 3 users want to go to internet, who shells ..... but we have some applications in event area... like opening lightshows (olympia, football worldcup etc.) where the communication between the lightdesk and maybe 250 ...

hi george... we using 2.9.37 .... you can see it if you are testing a line .. maybe rb112(with one wireless interface) => wrap board (with 2 wlan interfaces) => wrap board (with 2 wlan interfaces) .. our config is 5.700 ghz between the wrap boards, 2.437ghz between wrap and rb112... now you connect ...

So.... I found it..... a new test with some wrap boards gave the answer .. again... 2.4 ghz => 2,4/5.7 ghz => 5.7 ghz... the application is for doing an 5 ghz backbone with 2.4 ghz edgepoints (in this case in a football stadium)... so if you connect the edge points with rb112 (2.4 ghz) as slave and ...

hi all.... only a little problem ... at the moment i test a wlan link for what ever... the configuration is rb112 2432MHz=> WRAP 5800 Turbo => WRAP 5800 Turbo and it runs very fast and good.. if i test it with mikrotik bandwith test on my notebook....(complete line)... the bandwidth test disconnects...

no, i don´t think that it is a mikrotik software problem.....and i asked a question..i don´t want to talk to mikrotik support for getting an answer for a problem that not exists.... but what do you think i made wrong.... we talk about 15 hotspots and round about 120 acces points

Created one week credit and created one user with uptime-limit=2h. Logged for one minute, then logoff, after five minutes login.... credit is counting down....and session is allways up logged in an out with hotspot login web page.... so...what do you think I made wrong ? uptime limit = 0 ...
so i don´t use user-manager vor accounting :-(
