Re: v7.1rc3 adds Docker (TM) compatible container support

We will re-release container package soon. We wanted to improve security of the package, and make sure it does not have access to things it should not access. We will sandbox it more, re-evaluate all security aspects and will release it soon, when it is ready and completely secure. Hello, I just wa...

Re: Feature Request: Data usage

Doesn't your provider track and provide you with your fair use usage?

Maybe it'll be easier to get the data from them? And even better, sometimes they don't count the same way : 1kB being 1000b and not 1024, sometime considering a minimum connection usage per query of 10kB, etc.

Re: Enable BGP on ROSv7

Been waiting since November! No vxlan in rosv6. Need both vxlan and bgp.
Don't buy something with a functionnality you need that is not present or "should come in future".

You'll get the feature when it is ready, wait

Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

1. LTE cat up to CAT11 at least 2. I would be interested into following bands: 700 MHz (B28) 800 MHz (B20) 1800 MHz (B3) 2100 MHz (B1) 2600 MHz (B7) 3. Backward compatibility with 3G/HSDPA would be nice but for my usage wouldn't be needed 4. Usage in EU/France 5. The carrier used does provide unlimi...

Re: v6 RC and v7 BETA

I really hope they use v4 kernel, but MIkrotik is still selling devices with 16MB of flash (WHYYYYYYY you do this?!!!!)... so it's not looking good. The kernel version doesn't define its size... the recent kernels are big when precompiled becasue they do have more and more hardware and features int...

Re: Send GPS signal to my traccar server

Why would you need routeros to send that info? What is your use case?
Using a script will be quite an issue as the API doesn't allow to post a new position.

Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

For me
Cat : 700 MHz (B28), 1800 MHz (B3), 2600 MHz (B7)
Usage : extended bandwith when dsl too slow or no fiber
Country : france
Provider doesn't put on data / speed cap

I'm currently working on a solution using USB lte modem and external antenna but on cable+poe would be nicer

Re: v6 RC and v7 BETA

That could be a good idea to pass to the dev team : having a unicorn on a cloud as boot logo for Beta v7 on LCD equiped routers!

RB3011 & metal 52ac POE

Hello everyone, I own a rb3011 (lcd but that's useless there) and for some month a metal 52ac. I didn't had time to do some testing at early stage but it seems like the POE out on the rb3011 doesn't make the metal 52ac power up! (even with force ON on poe) What is needed to make it work? (conf on rb...
