Re: Dude 3.1 exits after using tools

I'm running The Dude 3.1 on Win XP Home box, and I have same problem. The dude exits when I try to run some item from Tools menu. But The Dude exits only if I'm trying to run external application with this window icon. So, ping, traceroute, winbox, torch and others are working fine. But ftp, telnet ...

There's some Mts, and each of them is running hotspot. So, each MT has its own dhcp server and NATs all outgoing packets. There i...

Re: lower polling values

I'm using 3.0, not rc.
Same here, there are 1, 2 and 3 seconds intervals, but they don't work, so minimal, that works fine, is 5 seconds.

MyThoughts, absolutely agree with you, it looks terrible, like a sheets of papers on the desk.

IMHO, there should be shadows at least. And also waiting for outlines or some kind of border :D

All my devices (mickrotik, linux-based servers) have following services: ssh, telnet, web. Some of them also have https, dns, etc. And all of them reply to ping. The probl...

request for link shapes/styles

Waiting for new link shapes, if it is possible to add them :)

There could be some link shapes more, for example:
fiber (for example, double line)
cascade links between switch
ethernet with poe
cross-over cables (different color or shape)

As to me, 4 styles is not so much.. :?

i have the same problem.

And this solution with jump rule does not work for me. Moreover, packet and bytes counters in hotspot chain are equal to 0. Seems that i should add this jump rule to hs-input rule or do something like this.

Thanks in advance for your assitance :)

Try traceroute and ping tools from your notebook and mt. This will help you determine where problem is.

Another question is that i would like to use dhcp server. Should i set up it on one router or on both?

Another feature i would like to see is to exporting/importing separate map into/from separate file. I have to unite two xml-files exported from two different dude servers and have no idea how to get it.

Single solution in my mind is to create one xml file from 2 exported xml files manually :?
