Re: Bypassing AT&T Residential Gateways with MikroTik

Thanks for this thread! I got mine working on my RB4011. @Paul I had issues being authenticated but no IP Address from DHCP as well. 1. Make sure Identity and Non-Identity in Dot1x are your Gatways MAC Address. 2. Set ether1 switch port to fallback AND the vlan-id=0 . Although...it seems that it wa...

Re: Anybody ues AT&T Gigabit Fiber with Mikrotik RouterOS?

Similar to vsixnetworks, I'd like to know if using a RB260GS would be possible. My fiber run is too short to reach my rack. So the RB260GS would just act the dumb switch and 4011 would do all the work? Or would you need a CRS106?

Re: Amazon AWS VPN -- A Working Configuration Example and Bug

wowsers! spent a long time on troubleshooting routing + timeout issues. Make sure on the AWS side (VPC > Routing Tables > [Your VPC]) that you are propagating the routes back to your router! Re: Future of LTE products, user feedback requested

1. Which LTE Category you are interested in most - CAT6, CAT7, CAT9, CAT11, CAT12, CAT16 or some other? The higher the better. Not necessarily for throughput but due to support latest 3GPP release. 2. Which LTE bands and which Carrier Aggregation combinations should be supported? Not sure. 3. Should...

[SOLVED} RB3011 missing usb1 port

I just got a RB3011. First thing I did was upgrade to 6.40.5. I am not seeing any USB under Ports, only "serial0". However, when I plug in a USB 8GB flash drive it shows up under disks. What do I need to do? I need to be able to configure a USB 3G/4G modem (that I have working in my hAP AC).

Re: Disabling master station without disabling virtual AP

I too wish there was a way to manage the Mikrotik wireless (from phone) to update the "Connect List" or adding security profiles. Unfortunately right now I have to hardwire into the ETH2, change manually. Only after Wlan Master is setup can I access the virtual WLan. This requires me to have a lapto...
