Re: v7.7rc is released!

With 7.7rc3 and 7.7rc4 some sites dont work. It is dns related issue. If we use router as dns cache some streaming sites stop working. downgrading to 7.6 resolve the issue

Hi all, 1st: CCR1072 firmware 6.44.2 2nd: CCR1072 firmware 6.44.3 I have 2 CCR1072 routers in 2 different datacenters, both routers are connected with eachother via a 10GB dedicated link.. Now there are UDP streams going over this link but the packets are one-way out-of-order. When using iperf (on ...

Re: v6.42.3 [current]

We were trying to establish ptp link of around 80Km with netmetals. Our configuration was cell radius set to 100Km and tdma size to auto. With tdma size auto we can scan and see the other side but we cant connect. After long troubleshooting we decided to change tdma size to 6ms and the link connecte...

Re: v6.42.3 [current]

I have started testing this version. So far the issue of one client having high download causing slowness to other clients has been resolved. Mikrotik great and good work on this. We are going somewhere now One question is dynamic downlink ratio behaviour changed? In 6.42.2 with ratio of 60% ap can ...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

When i did tests with 6.43rc fixes the possibility of one client to overload the AP but overall throughput of the AP is low in 6.43rc. One client can go to 100mbps in 6.42 but in 6.43rc hardly going to 60mbps What rc version did you actually test? If this is the latest then MT needs to go back to t...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

I've been testing 6.42.1 for a while now in all of my Sectors with Basebox 5 and SXT SA5, all clients are SXT lite5 and sq and the results are a bit better then before when throughput is the only thing in mind, but ping times are not good and jitter seems to be even worse then before ping times go ...

Re: v6.42.1 [current]

I have upgraded my core routers CCR1036-12G-4S. Am running mpls, ospf and bgp within these routers. One ccr keeps rebooting after like 15-20 minutes. the rest are ok. the router which keep rebooting is acting head of mpls traffic engineering tunnel and is pushing traffic via this tunnel. On tail sid...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

Just done a test on a NetMetal 5 (921UAGS-5SHPacD) with 28 clients associated that runs on v.6.42.1 and latest firmware. AP radio is on 'only-N', 20/40MHz Ce, NV2 protocol, some fixed MCS rates, Hw. Retries = 3, 75% dynamic downlink mode and tdma 2ms period size. I have one client with SEXTANT (v6....

We were not able to recreate the issue locally with your written configuration with the exact devices. Would it be possible to grant remote access so we could observe the issue on your network? that speed test is going to one client or to all clients together? Am doing test from one client to our C...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

v6.43rc6 RB921G AC to SXTsq AC in left - 802.11 - 20MHz 2x2 AC - 100Mbit stable in right - NV2 TDMA 2ms or 3ms - 20MHz 2x2 AC - 10-80Mbit extreme unstable this is not funy. Add to 802.11 CSMA disable and let it go. NV2 is bad. We no longer have the quality of wireless. https://ctrlv.cz/shots/2018/0...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

Are people seeing improvements with 802.11ac or is this 802.11n only ? these are my observations. we have few basebox5(802.11n) which is still existing in our network. We are seeing better results with netmetal ac more than basebox5 With basebox am seeing around 50-60mbps. With netmetal ac we are s...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

Does anyone see any improvements in real life? Ooh yes. We used to get not more than 15mbps per client with sectors with more than 30 clients when all clients are active. Because of drop of performance when sector has more than 30 clients we were discussing migrating to another vendor but this vers...
