Voltage Monitoring on the Dude v7

For years I have been using a function - ros_command(":put [/system health get voltage]") and it has worked great. I upgraded some of the devices to v7 and things have changed. Now on a powerbox pro is use :put [/system health get [find where name=voltage] value] in terminal and it works f...

Re: Multiple Wireless stations [SOLVED]

If I understand that you want to use a station to connect to multiple router with different ssids and passwords. You can use the connect tab under wireless tables to define the ssids and passwords. Just leave the wireless interface with generic info and no ssid.

POE devices with powerful processors

Power box Pros or Omnitik Poe's with Arm CPUs.

I don't think that's much to ask for.

60g signal graphing in the dude

Hello, I setup the appearance of my 60g radios to show frequency, Rssi, signal and mcs. It displays/updates with out any issues on the map. Now I would like to graph that info, copying and pasteing the info from the appearance tab into a function and using a probe to call the function creates a pars...

Apple devices don't like symbols in the password. Change the wifi password to just letters and numbers and it should work fine.

Re: v6.46.1 [stable] is released!

I have had both omnitik and powerbox pro go into a hard lockup state. Watchdog did not reboot. No romon access. Nothing works until I power cycle it. Too bad they are on top of a mountain. I'll be downgrading for now and testing further stable releases in a lab from now on.

Can the APs be controlled by capsman? That would be nice, quick setup.

Check /tools user-man. See if it's still enabled. Also check the package versions.
Finally rebooting will sometimes do the trick.

Re: TWO CCRs FULLY UPGRADED AND STILL EXPLOITED (ROOTED) [SOLVED]

Check system-scheduler and system-scripts.

Change the user credentials.

Also change the default winbox port under ip-services. Example 8292

Connect to winbox (IP address):8292

Re: How can I enable a device to connect wifi for only 2 hours per day without setting hotspot

Set DHCP lease time to 24hrs

DHCP lease script add the host IP to a firewall list named "allowedLan" with a 2hr time out.

Firewall filter forward chain accept traffic from the src address list=allowedLan

Firewall filter forward chain drop traffic from the screen address list!=allowedLan

You will need to preform a netinstall and reload the config from a backup or start fresh. I just did this last week with a router that was in a hot closet with no ventilation.

Re: How to diagnose sxt sa5ac wireless problem?

Have you done a reset configuration on the SXT, then a wireless scan? If it produces the same results then I would do a net install of a bug fix only release and try it from there. If nothing changes I would suggest doing an RMA on the device.

Re: Nv2 ptmp poor results

Nv2 is not optimized for AC(can I get an NV3 please with mu-mimo support). Stick with 802 11 for AC.

My experiences with Envy nv2 is I get less throughput point-to-point but for multi-point with all clients busy downloading nv2 is able to handle it.

If the DVR has a static IP set the scr-ip to that IP address. Remove the in interface.

/ip firewall filter add action=drop chain=forward dst-address=!192.168.0.0/24 scr-address=192.168.0.250

250 is DVR.
