Re: WinBox v3.33 released!

Not working (closing) on opening older router version like 6.49.2 Could you provide us with more information? What router do you use? What version? Do you use Wine (the latest one)? 3.33 and 3.34 close instantly with CCR1009 sessions, also when set to <none>, also after clearning appdata. Using Win...

Re: Wifi 6E

It would be great to here from Mikrotik if Wifi 6E is on the roadmap and if testing is underway. I found this blog from Ekahau very interesting with regards to Wifi 6E and it's possibilities. https://www.ekahau.com/blog/impact-of-6-ghz-on-the-wi-fi-market/ Looking forward to a new generation of indo...

Re: UKNOF 43 CVE

It's true, MikroTik should have handled it better. It was mistakenly filed as just another ipv6 bug, which there are more of, until the author complained about lack of action. Then we looked at it again, and started to look for alternative solutions to handle it (because kernel change is not possib...

Re: Newsletter 85

wAP LTE and LtAP have built in WiFi access points that would allow to use the full benefit of CAT4 max 150Mbit speed :) We would like to use LHG for companies in rural aera's with average 4g signal. We use the high gain antenna for stability and higher speeds. The 100mbit port is a unnecesary limit...

Re: v6.43rc [release candidate] is released!

Upon upgrading an Cap AC from 6.40.5 to 6.34.5 through the TIK App (download install and reboot option) it bricked. Seems to only happen if the CAP is powered over Ethernet by another CAP. The other one survived the update. The CAP also isn't visible in Netinstall so I'll have to RMA it. This happen...

Re: Slingshot APT, RouterOS spying software [SOLVED]

Simply upgrading your RouterOS device will make sure nothing can be installed into it and will remove any rogue files. The vulnerability exploited open port 80 from Internet side. Don’t leave any open ports on the input chain unless you limit access to your own IP. Also having some sort of antiviru...

We would like to know our customer wishes and use cases on what kind of future LTE technology would be interested in? 1. Re: RouterBoard hAP AC Slow wireless performance.

Hi, I bought hAP AC and I have a question about 5GHz AC speed. I have a good internet connection, 600-800Mbit+ DOWN/UP on wire, but I have problem with AC wireless speed. After 2 days of testing I have such results: Signal -55dBm, 3m from client - USB TP Link T4UH AC1200. CCQ 92% TX Rate 520Mbps-80...

I would like to request that copying and pasting within winbox (using CTRL+C/CTRL+V) is added. Easier then right clicking and pressing copy and paste every time.

Not sure why it doesn't work (3.11, Windows 10)

Re: v6.41rc [release candidate] is released! New bridge implementation!

We have tested a freshly configured Hap AC with 6.41rc4 and getting large amounts of Radar detect in Regulatory domain.

Accespoint is only usable in super channel mode.

We are in a bank building so no actual radar here ;-)

Available for debugging.
