Re: Issue in firewall for ospf packets [SOLVED]

Is a packet checked in firewall filter even it already have been accepted in the firewall raw? After I made many searches and tests I got the answer. And it is: YES. If you drop a packet in a firewall raw rule, this packet does not reach the firewall filter rules. If you accept a packet in a firewa...

Re: PPPoE server IP conflict

Thanks tdw and nostromog for your contributions. My guess is that the remote-address in /ppp secrets takes priority over the address/pool specified in the /ppp profile. You can call it bug or feature ;) I think this would be true, but a client with remote-address IP setted up was already online when...

PPPoE server IP conflict

I want to monitor some of my clients, so I have set static IP address on remote address on their PPP secrets. Because of big CGNAT and firewall rules configured and specific IP address block that I'm...

PPPoE server bandwith control BUG?

Hi, I'm running a pppoe-server using a RB1100AHX2 which I have 3 pppoe-servers running with same configuration on 3 different interfaces: ether9 (clients of group 0) vlan1001 over ether10 (clients of group 1) vlan1003 over ether10 (clients of group 2) [XXXXXXX@RB1100AHX2-Central] > /interface pppoe-...

Re: v6.40 [current]

Hi, I think there is a BUG on 6.40 version. I'm running a PPPoE server and managing my clients with UserManager on a RB450G. I was running version 6.39.2 with no troubles and when I did the upgrade to 6.40 some users failed to authenticate via PPPoE. In UserManager Log the following message appears ...
