Re: Unable to Access UBNT AP [SOLVED]

This little router has simply gone round the bend. If I connect a PC or laptop to the router, it drops the interface and reacquires it a few seconds later no matter which interface is used. Interface 1 will only connect at 100Mbps. I do not know exactly what the update did to this router, but I'm go...

Re: Unable to Access UBNT AP [SOLVED]

If I need to access the AP after connecting it to the hEX, I am forced to hard reset the AP to regain access via laptop. This is insane!

But I figured out how to resolve the problem.

OS: 6.41 Firmware: 6.41 hEX RB750Gr3: 6 months old default configuration Since updating to 6.41 I am unable to access my Loco m2 gui through the hEX. Re: RB750Gv3 Dropping Connections [SOLVED]

RouterOS 6.41
Included AC adapter powered

It's also dropping connection to my Loco M2 on ether5.

Seriously considering downgrading, because this all seems to have started around the time I updated to 6.41.

Edit:
Firmware was 3.4 and I updated it to 6.41. Let's see if that resolved the problem.

RB750Gv3 Dropping Connections [SOLVED]

I have a 5 month old hEX that appears to be randomly dropping connections. I can sit here and watch as the connection on this workstation behaves as if I unplugged the cable. Moments later the connection is active again. I completed a hard reset with the default configuration and the problem still p...

Re: Wifi Latency

I would like you to remove the Wifi security for testing. You can add it again later.

Use the open Wifi to see if you still have latency spikes.

This looks like a decent android wifi analysis app: https://www.appszoom.com/android_applic ... gotsf.html

Re: Mikrotik RB750Gr3 & CaptionCall Telephone [SOLVED]

I disabled all the drop rules and then enabled them one at a time individually to find the offending rule. Originally I had set the defconf: accept ICMP rule to Drop. This rule change was the cause of the problem.

Re: Unable to Access Web Server [SOLVED]

Thanks for the response! I noticed that no matter what I changed, there was no traffic reaching the NAT rule. The default config masquerade NAT rules are the source. Placing the NAT rule I created above the default rule still does not allow any traffic. If I disable the default masquerade rule, it d...

Re: 2011-UiAS-2HnD-IN replace antennas

My suggestion would be to use the antennas that came with the router by simply adding additional cable. As Pukkkita mentions, adding points of resistance such as connectors will diminish the overall signal strength, but it's one option or another... You would need to figure out a way to mount the an...

Re: Increase 3G signal

It depends on the type of enclosure the modem resides within (e.g. residence/commercial/metal case) If your 3G modem has an external antenna connector, you can purchase an external antenna and cabling to mount one outside for better reception. There are also RF amplifiers available and they are capa...
