The nics will work wonder how stable 5.4 will run on the R410 and whether Mt takes advantage of the TOE (tcp offload engine) supported by the nics
Typo 44where did you get 2.9.46
Yes even the uptime in winbox is wrong because uptime should show the connection uptime and not just plain uptimeStill one thing is not corrected. Mikrotik show status=connect and the other side shows status=established. Session is OK, prefixes are being sent both ways.
where do i post my contact information ?nikhil, as it seems, this is a configuration issue. heimdal offered to help you, please post some contact info so we can take this off list. after this is solved, post your solution here
Trying to dish it out but its 31 minutes and 190k routes (100 from one and 90k from other peer) still 100% cpunew supout.rif please. last one was with incorrect package
the stable routing package is also buggy.I don't understand only one thing - why so much shouting about the routing-TEST package.
In my understanding TEST packages must be buggy, or esle they become stable packages.
Good I dont use routing-test. The routing package seems to be working ok. I hate this.We have 2 Test machines with routing-test. After a few hours with 2.9.25, we got bgp constantly renegotiating with neighbors. ??? downgraded to 2.9.24
Can I already smell 2.9.26?
I agree if nothing is done soon we will be moving out of MT instead of ordering another 6 licencesMore and more people using MT for BGP!!!
Why MT people not give us final working routing ?
"Routing the world" ? Where ? To 127.0.0.1 ?
I have emailed Mikrotik about the problem, and the guys told me that there wil be an update dealing with these issues in release 2.9.24. I am waiting for that release to retest and post my feedback.
dont know ask MT about IDE ...Why doesn't MT sell Flash IDE without MT licence?
I could use 'em in RAID1, or not?
For internal routing mikrotik's bgp is fine
The problems occur with full bgp feed.
Question for bgp Mikrotik developers:
Do you consider to support BGP with comunities ?
Many providers use this and we want to use it too
Not that i am aware of. You might want to configure hold-time and keepalive time. I had to go in the other way to setup advertisement-interval to make sure changes in network list got propogated.
What config is your router ?? CPU / RAM ?I graph my cpu average with mrtg and it hits 100% for quite awhile as the router works to clean up the table after loosing a peer, and during that time the routes for outbound traffic are going to be wrong
I also would like somemore BGP options. I find its the only main think holding me back from selling more router setups.
