wAP R + R11e-LTE6

Hi, At the moment I have a wAP R with a cat 4 miniPCIe Huawei modem. On the wAP R product page only the R11e-LTE modem is listed as related product. Would the new R11e-LTE6 modem be a suitable drop-in replacement for the existing wAP R modem? As the design of the wAP ac LTE6 kit appears to be the sa...

Re: ** WE WANT A LTE BRIDGE-MODE **

I've got question regarding WAP LTE KIT: To set it in passthrough mode I need: /interface lte apn add name=internet passthrough-interface=bridge /interface lte set lte1 apn=internet ?? I'ts running bridge mode - will be connected to ether1 on hAP AC and latest RC firmware is there too so I'm checki...

Re: hAP AC + wAP R

Still being stuck with no internet connection on the combined network I feel that there are two things missing but I can't find a way to solve it: Internet requests are being routed to 192.168.1.1 (hAP's IP) and from there it can't find its way to the lte1 interface on the wAP. How should this link ...

Re: hAP AC + wAP R

I disabled the wAP's firewall rules, I stripped all extra configuration, but I still can not get internet sharing to work... I can happily ping or traceroute with the lte1 interface, so I have a connection, but where the following was enough with an LTE USB dongle in the hAP, the wAP with its LTE ca...

Re: hAP AC + wAP R

Thanks for your advice. The two responses are two extremes, how can that be? I forgot the add that I will be connecting the wAP R with the hAP AC with an Ethernet cable. The internet connection is obtained by a mini-PCIe card in the wAP R. Examples I found for configuring multiple devices with an ac...

hAP AC + wAP R

Hi, I'd like to combine a hAP AC with a wAP R, where the former would be used as the main DHCP server and the latter would be used to get an LTE internet connection for the complete network and extend WiFi network coverage. What i'd like to prevent is having to configure the same things on the two d...

wAP LTE R + Huawei ME909u-521 is no succes

Hi, I've received my wAP LTE R + Huawei ME909u-521, but so far I've not been able to enjoy it. The initial firmware, of which I neglected to note the version number, gave me the same result with two different SIM cards of two different providers: they were able to find find an operator, but gave me ...

Re: Feature Request: OpenVPN [ovpn] udp tunnels

Hmm, alpha... it looks like we may get something ready for this thread's 10th anniversary. I just hope that other nice OpenVPN features will also make it to the party.
LZO compression and SHA2 (SHA512) authentication come to mind...

Re: Feature request: OpenVPN compression LZO and UDP

No UDP, no LZO and no SHA2 (SHA512) authentication and not a single response from MikroTik what so ever... It basically means I can't use OpenVPN. Creating a tunnel on each device behind the router is not an option, not to mention highly impractical. Adding a device to create a tunnel before the rou...

Or checking that your public ip address is the same one as your lte assigned ip address
Spot on, they are different indeed...
I suppose the only thing I can do with a connection like this is start using a VPN with static IP, or do you suppose I have an alternative?

Re: Port foward with NAT masquerade for LTE Interface

Hello Your Telco Operator is natting you ip. that's why port forwarding is not working. Thank you for your reply. I had that in the back of my mind as well, but since I'm new to RouterOS I wanted to make sure it wasn't an error on my side. Can you confirm that my config should be OK in it's current...

Re: Port foward with NAT masquerade for LTE Interface

I forgot to add that it's a Huawei e3372 dongle that I'm using and I'm on RouterOS v6.40.1.
For the rest it's basically still an out-of-the-box configuration with the exception of setting a WiFi password and changing the default IP address and DHCP range.

Port foward with NAT masquerade for LTE Interface

Hi, With a simple setup of my hAP ac I don't seem to manage getting ports forwarded. I hope you can help me out on this one. I've got a hAP ac with a USB LTE dongle as my only way to connect to Internet. I've only set up an internal DHCP server and use the router to connect some phones and computers...
