Re: Netinstall does not "see" device

There is no antivirus and firewall turned off. There is a second ethernet, though. I'll try disabling it, thanks. BTW, is there a Linux tool for this? Did someone reverse engineer Netinstall? From what i see it is a BOOTP and TFTP service, there is plenty such tools for Linux... Had to install Windo...

Netinstall does not "see" device

Win7. Wireshark clearly sees BOOTP requests from device, Netinstall 6.44.5 launched, but does not reply to BOOTP requests.
Windows firewall is off. netstat -an -p udp shows that ports 67 and 69 are being listened by Netinstall.
All set up according to Netinstall wiki.

Re: API to get info from LTE interface

I found this thread when I was Googling for the same question and thought I'd post my answer in case it helps anyone else (I realise it's some years since the original post) The info command (now) works via the API - tested with ROS 6.45.5. The following API call returns the RSSI, session-uptime an...

does it work with dont-require-permissions=yes?
It only affects running script with non-owner user. Nothing changes in regard of problem, i tried.

Maybe i'm going wrong way? Maybe i can get result of [/some non api command] via script itself?

Local echo is then you type something, it prints it back, so your terminal program see that. Makes scripting a pain.

Re: RouterBOARD wAP R-2nD, cannot reset with custom config [SOLVED]

If any one find this post, here is the solution:
This devices mount flash under "flash" folder and filesystem root is RAM disk, so it get reset after reboot.
You simply need to store script under "flash/filename" and use it this way in reset command.

Re: Error on Wiki page

I believe that the LSB value 1 indicates a multicast address regardless the value of the UAA/LAA indicator, and no interface's own MAC address should be a muticast one. So I'd stick with 2,6,a,e as the lower nibble of the first byte.
Exactly!

Re: LLDP

Why lldp neighbour interface description is shown as neighbour interface name? There is no interface name in LLDP. For identification purpuse it is better to use interface id.
Please, fix it. Also lldp interface id and id subtype should be accessible via corresponding fields and of course SNMP.
