A bit more info would be appreciated. We also have quite few clients that runs 24v DC and 24v PoE up their units for redundancy. Never have we had problems that the units does not work, power failures or "burned" units.

Ok so after upgrading from 6.43 to 6.43.2 the problems ceased. It gets decent throughput and performance but still not compared to a RB941's throughput performance with the exact same settings and firmware. Have you actually tried Nest's suggestion? Ok so after upgrading from 6.43 to 6.43.2 the problems ceased. It gets decent throughput and performance but still not compared to a RB941's throughput performance with the exact same settings and firmware.

So here in South Africa MT get's utilized a lot. I work a big Mikrotik Distributor. Can't give out customer information, but I can say that we sell tons of Mikrotiks and the people love it. UBNT and MT is on par almost in South Africa.

It's still a fairly simple concept that the blurb explains... You choose your control (main) frequency and decide if you want extension to go above/below it. XX for auto-selection so it actively avoids noisy neighbours. XX is probably better for noisy/changing environments, eC vs Ce is purely based...
