Now i've recreated all my users, but i had to put new passwds for some of them. Is there a way i can sniff/r...

Adding hard drive for more space

Hi I've got a P4 server running RouterOS in a 128 Mb flash disk with UserManager. The UserMan logs fill up the disk and there is no easy way to control or delete them once it's full. Can I add an IDE hard drive and store all the logs there while keeping my system in the flash disk? If so? How? If i ...

Re: High CPU Load on P4 box, 3,10 Userman and few users

My problem was solved. It was quite stupid actually.

My routeros had a dude package installed that was doing lots of traffic.

You should try and deactivate any unused packages.

Re: High CPU Load on P4 box, 3,10 Userman and few users

Thanks for the replies, ashish was spot on.

Old dude package was installed in the server and was generating lots of traffic and connections, as if it were doing constant discoveries.

Problem solved.

Thanks,
Santiago.

High CPU Load on P4 box, 3,10 Userman and few users

We have a 3G P4 with 2GB ram box, RouterOS 3.10 and Userman package. The box is not under heavy load yet the CPU load goes up day by day. The box is currently acting as Userman radius server for pppoe clients who connect to pppoe servers set up at each node. The box also does NAT for every pppoe net...

We are having the same problem brian has... Recently we had to migrate some of ours behind a MT box and they no longer can VPN into their servers, inside the MT network. For wildbill442 , i think that you're speaking of users inside your MT networks that can succesfuly VPN to servers outside, while ...

Thanks, that works like a charm now.

I've encountered another problem though which seems more like a bug than a configuration issue. I will post in a new thread to avoid confusions, under:

MT stops routing a specific flow until rebooted

Thanks
Santiago.

Policy routing prob. Can't access MT via both interfaces

Hello, I've got an MT box with two WAN interfaces: eth0 with static ip x.x.227.72, and eth1 with pppoe and dynamic ip. Int0 is my inside network with pool 192.168.0.0/24. On my inside network I have a Small Bussiness server which has an Exchange configured and responding to the static IP, as well as...
