(Switch power off for 30 seconds and then put it back on) Now the AP doesnt stop responding it is still accessable from the one client but the other two clients stop connecting...

bjohns was right I am looking into this to discount local traffic and traffic to certain sites. I dont want to have a seperate box which drills into the radius server to discount traffic seperately as this just seems like a "ugly" solution. I would like to do everything on the mikrotik so ...

Does anyone know where the radius actually gets its accounting data from ?

Is it from the pppoe interface byte counters or from a dynamic firewall rule ?

altering byte counter on pppoe interface

Hi All I would like to know if it is at all possible to alter the bytecounter on a pppoe interface. I would like to do this thinking along the lines that the radius accounting uses the bytecounters on the pppoe interface for accounting purposes. Does anyone know of a way to do this and if it is infa...

I haven't looked into the traffic limiting issue. But I think excluding their local
traffic from the pppoe / pptp session is a big problem which I am trying to solve
aswell. As I need to provide free access to some of my users for local traffic
aswell as certain destinations.

static routes with dhcp ( exclude traffic from pppoe)

Hi Is it possible to add a static route to an network a.b.c.d/24 or even just a static route to host a.b.c.d via dhcp? I am assigning a default gateway for my dhcp clients but I would like to assign seperate static routes for various networks and hosts. This is actually a work around for a more comp...
