Re: Understanding CCQ and Troubleshooting a New Link

Thanks for the reply GalaxyNet... Sunday morning I climbed tower 2 and replaced the RB/532 with RB/333. Now my Tx/Rx CCQ at both ends are 100/100% and the Tx/Rx Signal are both solid -64 with a 36dBm SNR. Kinda weird, but I was forced to replace the RB/532 as after a re-boot it went stupid and lost ...

Have you selected the correct antenna connector? If the board wasn't rebooting, it's unlikely to be power related. Re: -65 AP Connection Client Device can't Access Captive Portal

Are you using Hotspot package on Mikrotik?

No, the AP's are set using "ap bridge" the client devices are utilizing "station".

Nothing to do with HotSpot in this scenario would solve the issue at-hand.

That only worked when I also setup a bridge between wlan1 and ether1. Why would this be? If I just bridged them, there would be NO connectivity across the ports. If I bridged them and then made a NAT rule for Masquerade, it would work. If I did not bridge ether1 and wlan1, AND setup the masquerade ...

-51 on the rx is still very high. At 100 feet a 14 db roo2 with 12 dB is still too strong. The 5 and 10 MHz channels show side bands. At -39 I would suggest going to a smaller antenna and reducing your radio power of your CPE. That said, a 27 dB XR2 and a 19 dB Sector equates to 46 dB. Reduce the power of the AP to 7 dB to stay legal. The reason for 7 dB is that the XR 2 has a default of...
