Some devices/servers have static IP addresses, and they are referenced in several places: DHCP Server, Firewall, NTP... You have to write down the same address everywhere. But what if those addresses ever change? You'd have to check all your router's configuration! It would be great to have a place ...

In my case, this is a matter of static DNS. Mikrotik router has a static IP for upgrade.mikrotik.com, and its IP has changed recently from 54.192.217.80 to 54.230.62.145.

Just change this static address (IP > DNS > Static) and everything will be working again.
