Re: Not equal cpu usage on 5.7

I think that is a feature. While the BGP process is glued to one core, the other core can handle traffic.
Interesting. So one CPU has 100% of usage (and possibilyty of having some errors) and 2nd is doing nothing - grate feature ;)

why do you use multi-cpu=no if your cpu have two core?
Missunderstaning - now (on 5.7) multi-cpu=yes

On previous ROS versions i was not sure that this will work so both ht and mcpu was turned off.

amazing very nice hotspot page, so how can I do my own page to our company.

It is quite easy. First of all download hotspot dir to local folder.
And open it with for eg. notepad++ and see syntax.
You will need html knowledge.

If you have any questions feel free to ask ;)

Hi,

Guys are you planning to set up any voip hardware? Ideal would be 711 with integrated voip. So we put 2x ethernet cable on roof (one for ethernet + phone lines one for power).

Or RB450g with radio and voip?

This would be the best CPE solution.

Re: 2xISP -> one for www other for rest - problems with routing

What is the reason? I think that I have found problem - but not the solution ;) After adding ip address i do not have access to it outside the network (even ping is not working). But what is funny - the same config works fine on other router (also on MT). I even switched network card - still this s...

TP-Link 501 APC + MT - radio restarts

Hi, Since some time I'm having issues with radio restarts in those APs. What is interesting is that only those machines are rebooting (radio) all others are working ok. This situation is on all my transmit stations: 4 ;;; [APC] Interline 00:19:x no -71dBm... 12Mbps 1h59m59s 5 ;;; [APC] Interline 00:...

Hi,

I found this topic:
I setted RB112 to 200Mhz by adding 1khz resistor to R7 position and jumper on JP7. Works fine
Nice, thanks for sharing 8)
Can anyone confirm this ?
If yes, can You make any photos ?

Thanks,

aha, so we see the reason of your problem. you are misinterpreting the meaning of this value. basic-rates means that it will work at any rate possible, starting from 1Mb. if you set it to a high value, and such speed is not possible, it will not work at all. SO - leave it to 1Mbit. My mistake - sor...

try leaving the basic-rate to 1Mb/s, set the tx-power to `default`, and change back the other settings that you might have changed (defaults work in most cases) 1Mb is not enough for me. Users has access to 4Mbit connection. Why are you suggesting to set TX-power to default ? Is this has any influe...

If at 1mb it lessens by alot or completly then look at an antani issue... pigtails, alignment, line of site, wind moving the antani's.. etc etc.-Michael Michael, What is interesting is situation, that this station was working perfectly on Planet WAP 1966. I presume that the RB112 is functioning merely as a bridge, then? Definately take a look at all of your MTU's and make sure they are accurate. The sub-interfaces should be 1500, and the pppoe server should hand out 1480 or 1488. Nickb, thanks for the answer. Is it only thing that I can do ? What el...

Hello, It is my first post in this forum, so I would like to welcome all of You. I have one problem with MT as an AP. When I'm connecting with Interner by normal TCP/IP (RB112 is just AP, other MT is installed on normal PC and used as router) every thing is ok. But when I'm authorizing by PPPoE page...
