Re: OSPF-PPPoE Summarize ROS6 vs ROS7

If I do that I stop publishing all my connected networks (whether they are interface ips, loopback ips, etc...,). I just need it to do the same as ROS 6. That the connected IPs, in this case the pppoe, are summed up in the backbone network. In fact this happens, but also the IP is published alone, I...

Re: OSPF-PPPoE Summarize ROS6 vs ROS7

I don't have any BGP instance, or if I understood correctly mark in the OSPF instance the BGP propagation. But in that case it has no effect.

In the end, if there is another way to make the pppoe not propagate along with the other connected individually but summed up... that's what I need.

OSPF-PPPoE Summarize ROS6 vs ROS7

I need to summarize the PPPoE of my clients, with RouterOS 6 with the following configuration I got that as soon as 1 PPPoE is connected, the summed range is automatically published. But in RouterOS 7, with the following configuration I get that the summed range is published, but also the PPPoE is p...

Use backup OSPF interface for especific prefix without static routes.

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible in an OSPF network in which I have two interfaces on R1 to R2 and R3, one with a higher cost than the other to two different routers like this: R1 -> R2 -> R4 R1 -> R3 -> R4 I would like to dynamically instead of making static routes that the cost of a single I...

Re: The Dude Client 6.46.4 Only Works on Linux [SOLVED]

I answer to myself: Finally it seems that version 6.46.4 consumes much more resources than version 6.45.8 so it was due to lack of power in the server so they did not boot the clients, I understand that linux clients have better cached the client than in windows, because in windows it ended up loadi...

The Dude Client 6.46.4 Only Works on Linux [SOLVED]

I have always used dude to monitor my network, as I have seen that it was not possible to monitor 6.46.4 router os from the version it had (6.44) I have decided to update it, however right now after updating, updated windows clients do not connect, they stay in the "getting stuff" state an...

Re: High CPU load when PPPoE sessions disconnects

I have the same problem, it is very necessary that it be resolved.

It affects me in any CCR model, even a CCR1072 with a drop of about 70 PPPoE the CPU is set to 100% for almost 1 minute generating packet losses and even loss of connection with winbox.

Seems like DHCP bypasses most of processing on ROS and works quite directly on interfaces ...
Thanks for the reply mkx

Re: I Can't set 802.1p on VLAN

Thanks for the reply jprietove. Well, now the ping if it arrives with the correct priority, but I go back to my initial problem, the ping yes, but the DHCP does not ... the DHCP offer is sent with priority 0, although the DHCP Discover and the Request comes with priority 5.Therefore, the DHCP Offer ...

Re: I Can't set 802.1p on VLAN

I think that in this case the rest of the configuration matters little. Anyway: # jan/02/1970 00:26:58 by RouterOS 6.43.12 # model = 951Ui-2HnD /interface vlan add interface=ether1 name=vlan2 vlan-id=2 /ip address add address=192.168.2.1/24 interface=vlan2 network=192.168.2.0 /ip firewall mangle add...

I Can't set 802.1p on VLAN for DHCP [probably BUG]

I try set prority by two methods like i can read in this link: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Vlans_on_Mikrotik_environment for the outputs requests. For example, the DHCP request is by VLAN ID: 2 and Priority 5 but the offer Mikrotik send with Priority 0 always. (vlan 2 interface is in brVlan2 inte...

I have the same problem with two mikrotiks. Both have the last firmware and router os version from two weeks.
