BGP and VRF

I am trying to set up an VPN for a customer, using eBGP to talk to the customer. I first tried using "pure" BGP and VRF -- set up L2 tunnels between each site and on each site ran BGP within an VRF. Each of my BGP routers would connect to the customer router (customer facing interface is i...

By the way, aside from power voltage monitoring, it would be very nice if the RouterBOARDs can shut down if the power supply is under some voltage.
I have seen lots of cases, where wireless modules lose their config, or sometimes (happens a lot with CM9) have their configuration eeprom destroyed.

The tricky part here is OSPF. I have been experiencing extremely bad behavior of the RB532s (32MB RAM) when it comes to OSPF. The routing process inevitably crashes and is not restarted -- you have to either restart the unit, or reconfigure OSPF for it to be started again. Maybe, the 64MB version wi...

It seems, that after a while, recent RouterOS versions will lose OSPF routing. This happens most often on RouterBOARDs, probably due to memory overflow. If you want to test it, just load the current software - either 2.8.27 or 2.9rc6 - it will work for 24 hours with all features, without license. If you like what you see, just purchase the license and import it in the router (it will continue working).

Alignment mode would show you received data even if you set single packet out of thousands (you can't associate under such conditions). It also gives better signal strenght reading, quicker changing.

You aim the antenna faster with align mode.
