How can the master ask the students for advice?

You can create a flow first(mark connection) and then from connection mark create packet mark! It just work better according to the clever people!

I would also like to no from the MT guys why this is so! :?

Try it did it work!

Like I said before, I do not currently run PPPOE and Queue tree on same unit!

But I am sure that you can play with the mangle rules to spesify your outgoing interface! therefore your PPPOE (interface on it's own) should work fine!

Try it and let me know!

Yes, remove simple queues! Lets try again! 1 Customer will start download! 2. For the first 1...

Yep! Take 2 x 532 with 4 x CM9 cards, set it up for N-stream dual and check it out for you self! I also don't now why RSTP increase performance! In theory I agree with you! Check out the specs for that test as on that link placed by Uldis! Compare routing to bridging on both software versions! Regar...

60 concurrent connections should not be a problem!

Voip is not very bandwidth intensive, depends on codec used. My sip is running on average 11kbps up and 11kbps down!

I hope this will help you!

To sam soft08! Clearly you dont understand! 1Mb/s speed download yes. The mangle rule will mark all packets as new connections, until total download data reach 1MB (8 megabits in 1 megabyte), then packets match rule to mark them as old packets, hence the priority is shifted down to 8! I hope this is...

OSPF and PPPOE nightmare!

I have 10 towers running OSPF on RB532! I also run PPPOE on all the towers! The address range 10.22.x.y is running as backbone and all the 192.168.x.y is the pool addresses for PPPOE clients. Under OSPF is only the 10.22.x.y specified as backbone (example=10.22.1.y/24 for tower 1, 10.22.1.y/24 and 1...

I have to disagree! I am running about 10 towers with OSPF, no Problem, Try to run a radius server for your clients to authenticate! This save's a lot of memory on 532! Nstream is very cpu intensive, I do not reccomend it, if you have to, only 1 card for backbone!

All I can say about a 112 is, only use at client with 1 card! My experience over the 2 years with 112 is: ban it from all towers, not suitable for nstream!! :!:
