Voip (RTP/SIP) over SSTP

I have a hosted Freeswitch server. At the remote site is a mikrotik hex connecting to the hosted cloud server via SSTP. The phones are configured to use SIP - TCP but from my understanding RTP only uses UDP. I've experienced some really bad jitter and was wondering if it was because I am using SSTP ...

Re: Can't launch script from Netwatch

My script is just pinging a host and if no response rebooting. Yes you can put the entire scripts in the NetWatch Up/Down script windows. However in my case - writing to a global variable - this ceased to work with the new software version no matter whether I put the function in the NetWatch script ...

Re: Can't launch script from Netwatch

Thanks very much for he reply. I wound up putting my script in the down section. It's not very large.

Is there a problem in doing that?

DHCP over SSTP

If I have three Microtiks A, B and C. B and C are connected to A via SSTP tunnel. Is there a way that A can run DHCP server, same subnet to both B and C? I noticed in the IP->DHCP SERVER->DHCP settings that you can only specify an physical interface (i.e. not sstp1-out). Is this even possible? If no...

Newb dial on demand question

Hey there, Was wondering if someone would be kind enough to quickly explain the 'dial on demand' and 'keepalive timeout' parameters in an SSTP interface. I would like to set up a tunnel so that IF the tunnel were to ever go down that it would connect back up (yes I understand that there would need t...

Re: Amazon Microtik DNS/Static DNS not working

How about something as simple as this.

DNS set for 192.168.01
Remote Access checked.
Static DNS entry: test.host.local

From workstation whose primary dns is : 192.168.0.1
ping test.host.local does not resolve.
ping www.google.com resolves.

What must I do?

Re: MicroTik to SoftEther (OpnVPN)

Thank you so much for the reply. You were absolutely right. The problem was with the firewall.

Once I made the entry and you explained it starting working.

It was my mistake with regards to SSTP. I had tried both SSTP and OpnVPN.

What has me puzzeld is if I take a look at the SSTP-out1 interface under Status the remote address is 1.0.0.1? Where is it getting this from?...

microtik to softether (site to site)

Does anyone know if it's possible to configure a microtik to connect to a softether vpn server (site to site)?

If so are there any instructions on this set up? My goal is to set up a few remote offices to connect to a hosted aws softether vpn server.

Any help greatly appreciated.
