I have a fully functioning system, radius, hotspot, etc.(for 2 years) I just Checked the MAC authentication box and kept the password box empty on the mikrotik hotspot. OpenVPN with UDP and certificates works very nicely, and fast too. It is relatively easy to setup in windows/linux distributions.

Saw that the caution about upgrading rb532 is gone from the download page. Does this mean I can do remote upgrades remotely yet? If so, any pointers or tips.

All,

I'm a scripting novice, and need some pointers on a basic need. Is there an easy way to schedule a command to run, and have its output sent to a remote syslog server? I'd like to capture signal/noise data for analysis.

Hotspot login tied to remote dansguardian proxy?

Just a thought. Is it possible to setup one hotspot user group so that when they log in, they are tranparently proxied and the next proxy up the way is a proxy like Squid or Dansguardian? This way a login could be tied to a 'safe' proxy, while another login is directly routed without proxy. Any thou...

Re: anyone ever build this system? 2 prism APs, Bridged togethe

I built it, it worked. This was an upgrade to an existing site.

Reason was that I had 50 fixed IP clients all talking to the same ssid. Prism radios kept some earlier CPE firmware issues we had with a previous SR2.(it only affected 2, but on this site would create issues for 20)
