About Thin Provisioning

Hi, Will thin provisioning supported? Using RouterOS to create a KVM virtual machine needs to create a full size image, looks like thin provisioning is the better way.

Re: Feature Request: Hardware NAT

I think FastTrack can respond to your needs in the high bandwidth (1Gbps and 10Gbps) NAT. so view this topic http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=96302 I enabled FastTrack last month, and it turn out to be slowing down all my connections since i use it in combined with PCC loading bal...

Re: Newsletter 78 with 1GBPS WIRELESS PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Would the new S+RJ10 establish 10Gbps connection over 50 meters cat5e cable? My cables are in walls of my home and can not be upgraded. According to the spec. sheet it probably will not work. https://i.mt.lv/routerboard/files/sfp_splusrj10-170921151033.pdf Thank you. Looks like the 5Gbps will work....

Re: Questions about hardware off load & release date

HW offload is only on routers with ethernet switch chips. So no, it can't be used with wireless interfaces.
Thank you for your reply.

When would the final version of 6.41 be released?

BTW, Does CRS326 support MAC Based VLAN?

Re: Newsletter 78 with 1GBPS WIRELESS PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Wow some awesome new products :) The S+RJ10 SFP module is pretty interesting for the price.I remember buying a ProLabs one , for about 10 times the price last year. Indeed!!! Just to be sure - MT didn't you forget to add one digit ("1", "2" or even "3") in front of S+R...

Re: CRS 317 support 802.1ad QinQ

Doing QinQ in Software on a CRS317 is not very efficient though, when it comes to 10Gbit/s traffic. At 1-2 Gbit/s traffic, we'll be at CPU maximum. Where are we with this supporting QinQ in the new configuration style ? /M Aren't the QinQ a switch chip feature? I thought it was done by hardware, no...

Questions about hardware off load & release date

Hello,

I'm very interested in the new bridge implementation in v6.41rc50 which support hardware off-loading, anyone knows if it support wireless bridging? If it does, will it increase the speed when using 'Manager Forwarding Mode' in capsman?

When would be the final version be released?

Thanks.
