6.10 - some issues - possibly user error?

Folks, I have upgraded my routers from 5.xx to 6.10 - much working smoothly except: a) UPnP does not seem to work anymore - the previously working configuration, which was not complicated in any way, is now not working. No errors, no reports, just not working; and b) OpenVPN does not seem to be work...

Feature request - DNSCrypt support...

I'd be grateful if Mikrotik could consider adding DNSCrypt _urgently_ to the current and future versions of ROS. DNSCrypt has been released by DYNDNS.org as open-source code and allows users to effectively wrap DNS requests to DYNDNS servers in an SSL layer. This significantly improves security for ...

Re: RB450G hangs after upgrade to OS 5.4

Yup - that seems to have worked - many thanks.

I have grave concerns about 5.4 if it is going to run my RB433 router flat out - normal CPU occupancy is around 2%.

Any thoughts as to what the issue is?

Cheers

Re: RB450G hangs after upgrade to OS 5.4

I have an RB433 and a 493 that both perform uselessly after upgrade to 5.4 - 100% CPU and essentially no operation - with winbox all devices appear to be absent - wireless will accept a connection on the 433 but then drops it. Basic ip routing appears to be working but very poor and laggardly. Any s...

VPN issue - probably generic - errored link - HELP!

Folks, I am running an x86 server at head office (now running 4.16) and a number of RB433 remote offices 'dial-in' via OpenVPN. One link is perpetual. It seems to stay up all of the time. _very_ occasionally it dies and has to be manually re-started. It is running over ADSL 2+. The second link is ve...

I think I need more help - I am now confused. The good news seems to be that I am now seeing a better error message from the phone than 'Registration Failed' which was all I was getting before. I am now getting '504 Server Timeout'. I have tried varying the NAT timeout on the phone - between 30s (mi...

See my report above - set dummy rule = NO should do the trick - it did with my setup.

The second machine that is not passing uPnP is an x86 based router - not sure whether that makes any difference.
