Hi everyone I run openwrt on rb951 , but I cant ping any ip . When I ping an ip it do nothing , I wait for a while but still no action I do same configuration exactly same , on a sxt and everything goes well but when I try on rb 951 it doesnt work . I tried on another sxt but it failds too Same conf...

2.a vpn connection . it works perfect when I run it in windows directly but when it runs in Mikrotik its doing ok but some sites still ...

hi every body . here in my country some sites are filter ... I bought a VPN account . I ran it in windows and it worked . I mean it worked good . every thing now I run it in Mikrotik and some mangle and routing ... it works BUT still website are filters . just webpage still filters . everythings ok ...

In short Distance we got better Signal Strength with same devices (It's normal ) . but we expect very better bandwidth than a 50 Km distance link

Hi everybody
We have a link :
Netmetal and 30dbi Antenna
50Km distance
Signal Strength : -53/-56
Throghput : 80 Mbit
and another link :
Netmetal and 30dbi Antenna
1.5 Km distance
Signal Strength : -37/-36
Throuput : 140 Mbit
Something strange !! in 50 km 80 Mbit and in 105 km 140 Mbit . why ?

hi
some times in some router boards ( usually LHG ) there is no "data rate" and "tx power" tabs in winbox
I do upgrade but it isnt solve
any guide for this case ?

I have a ptp link in very noisy environment . Tx rx are -49/-50 but throughput is 1Mbit .
Is there any solution ? ( I know I should change frequency . Not this solution )

Because wireless it is bi-directional communication , and antenna have the same gain in tx like in rx . That means you have better reception with big antenna than small antenna. in station side, there is no different between a 32dbi antenna with a netmetal radio and same antenna with groove in rx s...

Would you please explain
Why 32 db dish with a radio with low ouput power ? What if replace that dish with a 23 db antenna ?
And why horizontal ? Vertical is better , I guess . ( in dry weather at least )
