Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

can you provide what IP address have you received via DHCP (ip address print)? output from tracert is showing IP address 192.168.1.10 - if your router has same IP on 2 different subnets it can cause issues(bridge vs eth1).
please also provide us ip route print

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

V2 - i don't understand output that you provided why 8.8.8.8 has something in brackets [216.58.223.142]. 8.8.8.8 is IP and not hostname. additionally i have no idea how ping google.com was working but ping 8.8.8.8 did not. did you change configuration and right after try to reach from device? V4 - c...

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

can you confirm that you can reach any public IP after you disabled rule that blocked gateway?

can you provide information if you have iterative or recursive DNS on PI?

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

ok so main problem here is connectivity at all - if you can't ping public IP address you can NOT reach nothing in the internet or at any other network. that rule is blocking your default gateway! add address=192.168.1.0/24 dns-server=192.168.10.2,1.1.1.1 gateway=192.168.1.254 netmask=24 if you want ...

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

ok so you want to have DNS via PI but you wrote that you can't ping public IP {ping 216.58.223.142 --> Request timed out } - if that has changed ignore following: disable rule that block network to network router add action=drop chain=input comment="Drop Network to Network Router" dst-address=192.16...

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

these are not needed as dns is on another network
You can force any DNS request to use your DNS by using dst-nat

Re: RB750, Pi-Hole and cross interface communication

i totally understand your dst-nat but what i can't understand is src-nat that you have there. you want to nat any udp/tcp traffic that is sourced in your bridge(src-address) and destination is your bridge(out interface) and change it to your PI and any port change to 53 you can configure DHCP server...

Re: routerOS vs SwitchOS

thanks for your knowledge i want to use NAT and several subnets just for home automation (i don't trust them that much :D ) so regular traffic will be just in one subnet - based on your info i should reach port maximum. i'll see if i will use combination of separate router and switch or buy this alm...

Re: routerOS vs SwitchOS

i don't need much form routing perspective but OSPF, NAT + maybe simple FW rules (i'm behind another mikrotik that is doing FW) + several subnets on different vlans from switch perspective i need several POE interfaces + maybe STP to be sure that there will not be L2 loop + something more when i sta...

routerOS vs SwitchOS

Hello, i'm planning to change my network a bit and i'm thinking of using POE switch. previous idea was to use router and switch but then i came to the specification of CRS328-24P-4S+RM that this switch / router or whatever it is can run also routerOS question is: if i don't really want all switch fe...

Re: Internet connection breaks for PCC setup when 2nd connection added

Hello
it's almost 2 years but i had maybe same issues while i was working with PCC. not sure if disabling fasttrack for all connection helps also in your case but you can try - if it's current.

Re: Load Balancing Based on Ips inside and outside the country

you need to find IP address resolution for this url ... in this case 4 IP's 185.147.178.11-185.147.178.14 based on nslookup. once you have this set of IPs you need to create access list that contain all IPs you want and right after you'll need to create mangle rules with access list and route based ...

Re: 2 ISP 1 RB2011UIAS

SAME configuration in other RB is working 100%

- single ISP2 connection can work normally

are you trying pings from(with source interface) or to 'RB or servers' with public IPs?
are you marking traffic from each ISP to flow back same direction?
