AFAIK. Because Tile(ra) architecture (CCR) support is dropped after kernel v4.14.x
According to Normis they don't use kernel's support for Tile so this won't affect them:

Thanks for clarifying it for others, much appreciated. @normis is there anything on the horizon that will help offset the shortcomings of current CCRs in terms of BGP performance aside from ROS7/multi-threading?
