I can confirm on my CHR Hyper-V system that Cake works on my Download simple Queue and on myUpload Queue tree. After the install on my 128MB systems I am using 17.8 MB of 91.2MB.

Yeah looks like someone else had the same problem. I even tried to extract the routerboot firmware from the upgrade file and manually upgrade the firmware before router os but that didn't work either.

I have a RB411 that I tried to install 7.0 Beta8 but it will not boot up fully. Sometimes it will boot enough to give a login prompt then it will reboot on it's own. I tried an upgrade from 6.47 running routerboot 6.47 and I also tried a netinstall with the same results.

7.0 Beta 8 seems to have fixed this issue. I have been running for over 2 days with multiple hits to my SSH acl and the cpu remains under control.

I would like to request that NAT-PMP be added to the UPNP feature. This is a widely used feature by apple clients and also by my Homebridge for my Ring cameras. I have confirmed that it does use NAT-PMP and will not work on the Mikrotik. It works if I boot up another firewall that supports NAT-PMP.

I have tried to SSH to another mikrotik deivce that has strong crypto enabled. I have also tried to SSH to my Proxmox host running version 6 which has the up to date crypto and hash enabled. I get the same result no matter what I try and SSH to.

FYI this firewall worked without issue on version 6. It is a modified version of Rick Frey’s firewall. The only thing I added was the IOT stuff and the layer7 rule which has always been at the top, and much of the time is disabled.

FYI the PSOD was only on gen 7 and all other vms including Pfsense and vyos works fine. There a bunch of people on the Homelab reddit with gen 6 and gen 7 running version 6.5 and 6.7. I have also run Debian vms with no packet loss and able to get good throughput.
