You must consider that most likely provider has activated Airmax which is compatible only with ubnt products.
If is a hotspot, it should be disabled.
Otherwise LDF2 will be better than AG2.

With AP in N mode and 15 clients speed can reach ~110mbps. In AC mode and AC clients it should reach more than that, so even one client can't reach more than 100mbps, more clients can reach more than 100mbps because all mikrotik AP's are gigabit.

Re: DISAPPOINTED 10Km link+netmetal+CCQ>94%+650Mbps@80Mhz < 180Mbps Throughtput

- check ethernet speed, must be 1gbps
- use 40mhz channel for start
- try multiple channels
- don't use less than 1ghz routerboard for speed test
- your signal is too strong, I recomment -45...-50

Mikrotik is not working good without nstreme or nv2 also signal is to low for that client. It will work better with nv2, also nv2 will keep it connected, with nstreme it will disconnect many times.
You should improve signal by changing SXTwith LHG. Is cheaper than SXT.

By default 5ghz was introduced in soho routers because of better performance. So if you get 200mbps in 5ghz and 50mbps in 2ghz it could be a fair result. Now it depends what does "much much slower" means for you. Also if I use a tplink wireless adapter at my house I get a speed of ~30mbps. In the sa...

Re: RB2011UiAS-RM LCD Causing high CPU and ping spikes

Each time the screen is drawn, the cpu can jump ~5%. We can optimize how often it is re-drawn, but some kind of CPU increase will be there, because any action requires the CPU. This includes all things you do in the device.
Does this apply and if the lcd is in "standby" mode ? Or only if it is used?

Re: mANTBox 19s and SXT Lite5 very poor Tx/RX CCQ

You can't. Not at 4km. Maybe 1km.
Also in btest, limiting tx and rx speed to 70+70mbps will give you exactly 140mbps.

5ghz will work much better than 900Mhz.
I don't think the link will ever work like it should...also a pair of LHG's are even cheaper than SXT.

Re: mANTBox 19s and SXT Lite5 very poor Tx/RX CCQ

Try:
1. nstreme
2. 5200-5600Mhz
Your signal is to low, the link is obstructed or missaligned. It should be around -60. Lower channel might resolve that.

Check if is enabled in HT tab. Tx power is not shown for AC devices yet, maybe never.

Re: does a rb1100hx2 need special setup?

If is an old ROS, it wont work out of the box. Only new versions have set up dhcp client on wan, NAT and dhcp server on. Since I remember, you can't connect on wan.

For that distance anything in 5ghz will work much better than 900Mhz. Not to say cheaper.

Re: Unable to go over 200mbps on HEX

I don't understand why you still test with btest. Is not reliable and will not reflect real world situations.
What are you trying to achieve? Gigabit between lan ports? Make a transfer between computers.

80mhz for plastic radios is to low. Until you put some distance between and some 400Mhz the link will not work.

5180 and 5200 are overlaping. You need bigger separation.

Try nstreme. Also 2 and 3 must not be close to each other. At least 5m separation or interference will ocrr,,,,like now.

I would also set up a signal range for the devices in access list. otherwise phones might remain connected to a lower signal ap.

Re: Problem with defectiveness of RB911G-5HPacD

This problem persist since the RB7xx series. Sextant have it, SXT lite have it, it look like the new devices also. And why? Because of soldering economy. That is not true! That is not true! Something like this has not been seen for a long time. You mentioned products from a long time ago, all of th...
