Re: OSPF and multiple IPs on same interface

I have just started working with OSPF and am having problems with some of the automatic route selection. The setup: We use both public and private IP addresses on the same segments for customer traffic (public IPs) and private IPs for device management. The problem is that when two routers have bot...

Re: IP PHONE + MIKROTIK

Hi gentitope, the 5060 port is only used for sip signaling (REGISTER, INVITE,....). For hear the voice on natted UA , I think that the easier way is to forward rtp ports from your NAT router to your Linksys. Another way,if possible, is to advertise your IP PBX that the UA is behind NAT but I don't k...

3.x release nat problem

Hi all, I'm implementing a voip system with Openser. I've a problem with nat and 3.x release. I've several voip user agent natted by RB 411 (or 133). I need that the nat string doesn't hide the ua's private ip, because this helps Openser to know that the client is behind NAT. With 2.9.x release I do...

Upgrade problems with RB333 and RB600 (powerpc architecture)

When I try to upgrade a RB333 (right click on device then upgrade choice) I get as choice only the x86 package downloaded...

join two LAN by wireless + management vlan. HELP!

Hi,

you can do this with an eoip (ethernet over ip) creating a bridge between 2 Vlans.
Any routerboard must have an ip of Vlan.
The creation of an eoip interface is simple, see the example on the reference manual.

Hi.

where to limit traffic

Hi Stefan, the Radius Manager builds a simple queue for any CPE (e.g. 1MB download and 256 KB upload regarding that you need) on the AP without the client knows this. This don't limit the bandwith on the wlan but only on the end-user. Only you need that the CPE supports pppoe-client. http://www.dmaso...

where to limit traffic

Hi all, the easiest way I've found to limit traffic at the CPEs is the use of Radius Manager. It builds the simple queues dinamically when the client makes the autentication request. However I use the AP as pppoe-server with radius autentication. We have about 600 CPEs connected on various AP and th...
