Re: v7.11rc is released!

It's not unpinned at all (now at 2023-08-07 22:11 CEST, tomorrow if is unpinned, is another thing), and if you haven't noticed it's not my fault. https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewforum.php?f=1 Oh, I do apologise, it has NOT been unpinned. So, yeah, it really should be, like I suggested originally 8) ...

RouterOS 7.11rc Bridge possible MTU bug [SOLVED]

Could everyone who has a ticket open about this please bump your ticket (and if you haven't opened a ticket, please do so by emailing support@mikrotik), and feel free to reference my ticket https://help.mikrotik.com/servicedesk/servicedesk/customer/portal/1/SUP-124248 The issue is (for me) that when...

Re: v7.11rc is released!

But this is also the first line on this topic. UPDATE: v7 is no longer in beta. Report bugs to support @ mikrotik . com please If people are not able to read and understand what is written.... That was only just added, when it was unpinned. Don't get upset because people were doing what they were t...

Re: v7.11rc is released!

That topic is from 2019 when v7 was in beta. It is not beta anymore,. 4 years have passed. It is stable Maybe delete or unpin that post then? It's still the first one that people see. Edit: It was unpinned! Yay! So I tried to report the MTU issue (which is 100% breaks-routers-on-upgrade) and will n...

Re: v7.11rc is released!

If we are going to e-mail support, why is this topic on the forum?
Then there's the 2% that users persist in reporting on the forum, instead of to support@mikrotik.com.
We are SPECIFICALLY AND DIRECTLY told to report bugs in this forum.

Re: BUG: 9000 byte MTU not working on bridge vlan

I upgraded a RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD to 7.11rc1 and MTU's were no longer being applied to vlans on a bridge, they were all at 1500. Rolling back to 7.10, the MTUs were correctly set. It looks like this has been broken for a while, and I didn't notice. I have played around with it a bit, and it looks li...

The /export did have the vlan set in it, and there were no errors in the logs.

Re: CCR2004-1G-2XS-PCIe causes INSTANT host crash when it's rebooted

It causes a crash even if the machine is still in POST. It's pretty clear that the ILO equipped devices are far more picky about how pcie devices are hotplugged than a normal dumb machine. I plugged it into a generic dell PC and rebooting the CCR didn't bother the PC at all. I don't have a Dell serv...

CCR2004-1G-2XS-PCIe causes INSTANT host crash when it's rebooted

Unfortunately, it looks like there's something in the way the PCIe card reboots that upsets HP servers. When I reboot the CCR, the server INSTANTLY hangs, with errors like "Uncorrectable Machine Check Exception (Board 0, Processor 1, APIC ID 0x00000000, Bank 0x00000013, Status 0xFE200000'000C11...

Re: UKNOF 43 CVE

> This is not a security vulnerability as I would describe it. Then what EXACTLY would you call the ability to stop your router from routing, remotely, without authentication? Because we in the Infosec world call that an Unauthenticated Denial of Service. (Which is a bad thing) Look, MikroTik have d...

Re: Source address for Updates and NTP

add a packet mark to every packet in chain output of table mangle, and only src-nat packets with that packet mark *Facepalm* - Thank you sindy, that's such an obvious idea I that I am annoyed at myself for not thinking of it myself! This works perfectly. I assume most people with a reasonably compl...

Re: Winbox 3.12 released!

The 'Too Many Advertisements' bug *IS STILL IN WINBOX* after being a known issue for **literally years** now. You just need to remove this code totally. It does not work, and even the MESSAGE is buggy ... 'show them all.nPlease' ... Can you please just remove that entire bit of code? It doesn't work...

Bug in 6.41

I've noticed two things, but one of them may be actually hardware related. The first is that ONE of my interfaces is refusing to link at 1gb. Even though it's set to advertise everything, it's not advertising 1gb: https://i.imgur.com/vqZ80hM.png In my efforts to see what the problem is, 'Cable Test'...
