Water getting into basebox 2s and 5s

Is anyone else having this issue? We deploy hundreds per year and get probably a 5 percent failure rate. We have the covers on yes and they are installed correctly yes. That said we have no idea if the water is coming through the led cover or the RPSMA o rings. Any ideas would help.

Re: MUM Europe 2019: new hardware

Wow literally one wireless device ? No version 7 despite them having no software releases for 2 months it felt like. It seems all they care about improving is LTE and switches. Btw does anyone know what frequencies this is ?

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

I see they are hiring an RF engineer.... Maybe they don't even have employees who know how to fix it

200mg data rate for the ple adapters..... We need at least 500mg to make them usable in homes.

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

It's pretty sad and unfortunate that mikrotik won't even comment on this. Do they not care about keeping customers? If they would just comment an ETA and live up to it they would keep far more customers than their current scheme. We were making a giant push towards tik ac when these came out but now...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

The fact that tik won't comment on this just baffles me.... Furthermore the fact that they build an AC lhg line that is most likely intended to be paired with the omnitik ac and than they sell thousands of them without even testing the product blows my mind. They clearly have time to improve the 60g...

Re: ARM devices and NV2 protocol

We really need a response from tik. This is ridiculous of them to not even respond. I've sent then 3 emails regarding this and their only response was we improved that in the latest current release. After upgrading still sucks and our company has probably around 500 of these things sitting in stock ...

Re: Plain 802.11-an better then NV2!

We are seeing the same thing, we just got hundreds of sxt5 sq ac's lhg5ac's in and with our omnitiks they perform terribly on nstreme and nv2. 802.11 exceeds them which is sad. It doesnt matter if its on wireless N mode or AC same results; what I am seeing is very poor rx and tx ccq from AP. Even wi...

Re: Significant improvement for wireless Nv2 PtMP

IMO it is an improvement over the existing nv2. Roughly 20 percent increase but it still is in the shadow of nstreme. With nstreme I have much more reliable speeds to same client signals off different towers. With the newer nv2 I can push 30to40mg to metal 5s on 20mhz channel than in some other area...

Re: Newsletter #81 (March 2018)

Hmm maybe one of these days we could get some better nv2 or wireless pmp software to marry up with all the new AC gear that's been released.... But maybe that's just a pipe dream oh and a spectral history would be nice too.

Re: Nv2 ptmp poor results

AC or N Hardware?
Used Antennas?
A/c and n hardware. Neither are very good . Even with newest firmware etc. Typically omnitiks to lhg5s and metal 5s

Nv2 ptmp poor results

Hey guys So we have mostly used nstreme for pmp scenarios but the instability drives me nuts. I've done everything possible but gotten mixed results I've tried increasing and decreasing period size cell radius and made sure I had 100% clean spectrum . My biggest issue seems to be throughput. Most I ...
