Actual Driver Support 40G Cards on ROS 6.47.x/6.48x

Hello, i found a few old topics about the Intel XL 710 Driver (10G/40G). Maybe someone could give me an actual status: - is ROS 6.47.x/6.48.x based on kernel version 5.x. If not does it based on kernel version 3.3.5 as written in the wiki (from 2019) ? Background of my questions is: - Does ROS 6.47....

Re: v7.1beta3 [development] is released!

AGAIN: you cannot update it that way. Download the package from the website, upload it to your router, and reboot. And at least make sure you have a backup of your system that you can restore outside of RouterOS (like a disk image), as it is probably going to fail. Certainly when you try to update ...

Re: 2004 hardware issues?

6.47.8 (stable) also includes the fix for the freeze/reboot issue and I can confirm that it installs fine and no issues with OSPF/BGP.
We are now testing it on 3 units starting today.
Same here, we started with two units (doing OSPF and BGP).

100 G Network Cards // Driver

Hello,
is there a list of compatible drivers for 40G and 100G cards?
In detail i searching for:

1. Mellanox ConnectX®-5 EN or
2. Mallenox ConnectX-4 or
3. Intel E810-CAM2

Does anyone knows if drivers are included for one of these cards in ROS v7 or maybe in latest Ros 6?

Thanks,

Re: RB1000 closing tens of pppoe connections at once

Hello, do not use CCR for more than 1000 PPPoP Customers per device. And under all circumstances disable connection tracking on CCR. We use X86 Devices which could handle >= 4000 PPPoE Customers but also with connection tracking disabled. We use these devices: 1) X86_64: http://www.lannerinc.com/pro...

Feature Request - Queues - Dropped in Percentage

Hello,
just a small request.

In a few setups we use Queue Trees with different Traffic Classes. It would cool to see also Dropped in Percentage under Statistics in relation to Packets total.

Feature Request - Bound Radius-Server to PPPoE-Server

Hello,

it would be interesting to bound assign firmly a Radius-Server Entry to an PPPoE-Server on one System.

Radius-Server1<->PPPoE-Server1
Radius-Server2<->PPPoE-Server2
Radius-Server3<->PPPoE-Server3
Radius-Server4<->PPPoE-Server4
etc.

Re: CCR1036-8G-2S+ - SFP+ port stops transmitting data?

Hello, i have have seen this issue also on CCR1036 on sfp-sfplus2 and on CCR1072 (also connected via DAC) often. The port shows Running but does not send any data. When this happens i disable and enable the port via netwatch and it worked again. A reboot is not nessescary (in my case). RouterOS 6.42...
